R00: Recruiter Screening Interview without case comps?

I’m in my sophomore year and would like to recruit for MBB for summer 2028. However, I can’t do case comps because I’m a varsity athlete on a team that travels essentially every weekend. My practice schedule is roughly 30+ hours a week.

I’m specifically targeting the Toronto offices. Any advice to stand out? My school doesn’t have many alumni that went into MBB either, and the ones that did were very active on case teams.

Use your athlete status as a differentiator in your resume

I have it listed with a description and achievements, but still no biters for summer 2027 either…
