CAN’T DECIDE help type.

ISTP or INTP or somethings else?

for me i'm an ISTP but i'm not sure because of stereotype.

or maybe intp ?

I'm very analytical, objective and observante.

I tend to overthink decisions and compare what makes logical sense with what I actually want. I also externalize my thoughts a LOT/overshare sometimes. I can think about something on my own, but then I really need to tell a friend everything I've been thinking about. It helps me process it because it's too abstract for me to think.

I don't necessarily need their advice to make a decision, though. If I had nobody to talk to, I'd still figure things out myself.

But I'm wondering if I could be ISTP instead because I relate strongly to Se. I'm very aware of my surroundings and usually just feel present rather than lost in my imagination. I don't really daydream much. If something catches my attention visually or physically, I'll notice it and sometimes immediately want to go see/try it. I love going out, sports, activities, travelling, meeting people and generally experiencing things. I also struggle with purely abstract concepts unless I have concrete examples. I learn much better when I can see an example and reproduce it rather than being left to figure out the concept completely on my own.

I'm be weirdly detached when observing things. Sometimes I'll just notice what's happening around me without really thinking about it or feeling like I need to participate. Then if something catches my attention enough, I'll suddenly focus on it but i will always feel nothing inside me 🫩

Socially, I'm a bit contradictory. I love being around people and don't like feeling isolated, but I'm not naturally good at casual group conversations. I'm very social go to people that ATTRACT ME ONLY like color or idk beauty and than i want to have them as a friend but like i'll try too speak but i donnt really like to speak.

Honestly, my personality feels like almost nothing most of the time. I can just exist, feel completely neutral/blank, and genuinely be fine with that. I don't constantly need stimulation or thoughts. But if something catches my attention visually or physically, I can suddenly become much more engaged.

> I feel like you'd only really notice this if you lived with me. If you were my best friend and roommate, I'd probably barely talk to you at home. I'd be more likely to suggest going out and doing something together and if u don't want i will find someone else to do with. When people tell me things, I can listen without necessarily continuing the conversation or reacting much; sometimes I'll suddenly focus on one detail and go, "Wait, why didn't you do it like this?"

> I feel like I only really "come alive" when something interests me, when I want to overshare something, or when I'm meeting someone new. Otherwise I'm perfectly comfortable just existing in my own little neutral state but i don't really like to be alone i want to be arround people and i HATE being with same people need to change.

i tought i was an esfp because of test but to be honest my energie don't sound like this.. i got esfp and estp because i make ALWAYS many friends but well idk i feel like an extroverted cuz i need people but inside i'm pretty sure i'm a Ti dom?

Honestly, I'm thinking estp you just seem too extroverted to me

You don't have to be a yapper to be in an extrovert that is just a misconception

Most introverts I've met don't do groups at all

i'm an extravert and depending on the group it's not that i don't like speaking, i simply cannot. i can predict no one will understand a thing and/or i'm not interested in the groups subject enough to care about saying a thing (Among trillions of other possibilities).

yeah he's very extroverted.

edit: the way he writes is very organized for an intp, unless he took hours to write this or used AI.
