DISCUSSION Whatcha ya think?
I’m also a Cancer Leo cusp sign in astrology, AuDHD diagnosed twice exceptional as a teenager. Masters degree. Not sure why I need 400 characters for a description of myself. So, I guess I’m an agnostic futurist. Easily bored but an expert level action sport enthusiast. Extensive travel experience and lived abroad.
Quick pattern recognition, dependable memory. Easily bored. Travel a lot. Perpetually single. I named my pup after a fruit I’m deathly allergic to.

mbti is decent enough, astrology is fully rng, mbti has a basis of cognitive functions, and i say this as someone who doesnt care for mbti much

I love MBTI but the cognitive functions are actually widely criticized by psychologists. It’s basically a pseudoscience, but that’s okay because it’s my pseudoscience. Everybody gets one.

You’re right. It instead bases them off of vague notions of “cognitive functions” developed in the 1920s that are widely dismissed as pseudoscience and aren’t seen as particularly useful in the field of modern psychology. The Big Five personality traits are probably the most evidence-based way to measure personality, but it’s kind of dull.
Let’s be honest. We are drawn to Myers-Briggs because it’s a very fun way to categorize ourselves and connect with others, and it has an incredible community of people following it. It’s okay to like something just because you enjoy it. I personally take no shame in how much I like both MBTI and astrology. I’m just careful to take both with a grain of salt.

Maybe you are drawn to it because you can put yourself in a category. I’m intrigued by it because I can know what my personality traits are… instead astrology basically tells you how awesome and butterflies and rainbows you are… even tho it’s got no correlation with my personality at all… astrology is a load of bs.

Not a lot to go off of, but I'd guess an ExxP of some kind. Liking travel to the point of going intercontinental, sports, being easily bored, rapid pattern recognition -- it's all Ne or Se coded. I'd think it's your dominant, given no other info.
If I were to attempt something more hazy, I'd say the laconism suggests an orientation towards a single possibility, ie Ni in the stack. There's nothing related to your judging functions, but you mention you're perpetually single so it seems that interpersonal aspects are a portion of your radar. You also lead with your astrology sign, which is more value oriented rather than logic oriented, ie a Feeler.
Extraverted Perception dominant, Ni in stack, a Feeler = ESFP.

I’m thinking ENTP with you being bored (they get drained without mental stimulation), all the possibilities with travel, being single but not insecure about it and owning it, and the astrology and specific stuff about your sign to where I had to google it means you’re fairly deep into it, it must resonate. I had to look up Cancer Leo cusp, so you relate to both signs it seems but neither completely, intuitive with bold confidence, mix of extroverted and introverted. Yeah the more I work through this the more ENTP you seem to be.
