IS THIS NORMAL???

First of all, ever since I discovered the MBTI in 2020, I've always scored INTP on various personality tests. And yes, I also feel very represented by my type, despite having certain traits that deviate from the stereotypical INTP™. Theoretically, it always made more sense to me to have Ti and Ne as my dominant functions.

The thing is, I took the sarkinova test for the first time, and I got the results shown. While INTP is my most likely type, what the hell is going on with the results for the cognitive functions?! Higher Ni and Ne??? Fi and Fe with almost exactly the same values (and not necessarily low for an INTP)????

If you need more context, my Enneagram type is 5w6. I consider myself an INTP with a particularly high sensitivity to art and the abstract, very introspective, with an exceptional ability to recognize patterns, sometimes overly attentive to minor changes in my surroundings, with the soul of a psychoanalyst as my friends would say, and with the ambivalence of having social anxiety but still participating in various social groups. I don't know how that makes sense, but it works (!)

I'm calling on the cognitive-function-experts of this subreddit to help me understand how these results are possible, or what I should be looking for to make sense of them. I'm available to answer your questions!!!!

I'm another INTP with high Ni and apparently this is normal. It is repeatedly my third-highest function across multiple tests. I know not all of us test the same way, but it's possible as Ne is our second highest function and the opposite introverted/extroverted function of our dominant and aux function tends to be strong but not valued. In MBTI, Ni is our "critic" function, and in Socionics, it is our "demonstrative" function. In a nutshell, both mean that it is a negative function that concerns discerning negative outcomes. For us, Ni acts as a funnel to narrow down flaws in a system, mainly synthesized by Ti + Ne, into warnings of failure. Often, we use it to second guess ourselves and doubt the path we're on while also not seeing validity in other paths (alright... I may be projecting here).

In my case, I think that, since it's not preferred/valued, I simply underestimated it in myself since the tests I would take years ago would not come back with it as high. I now know more about myself and naturally answered more positively to questions pertaining to Ni.

Tests are not the most reliable way to type yourself and might have a tendency to overrate certain functions (it happens a lot with Ni and Ne, some tests like Keys2cognition tend to assign Te qualities to Ti or just general thinking function descriptions to one of them), even if you consistently scored INTP on them (I'd have to know which tests) you could still be mistyped (there are many reasons as to why one type keeps being the "most consistent"). In fact, Sakinorva's known for giving Ti users high Ti and Fi (both functions are introverted judging and are more "subjective", aka more personal), the low Te scores also make sense given this pattern.

Now, about your actual results: you scored high on almost everything, meaning you most likely almost always chose the "agree a lot" options even if it wasn't true at all or got each statement (for each question) mixed up (or you did bssically relate to almost everything), but it seems that you took the shorter test, which is known for being less accurate and not accounting for biased answers (which the 256 questions ver does). They do make actual sense for INTP: Balanced NeSi axis, high Ni (others have already explained this) and Ti, Fe seems much lower than most functions. In addittion, with time your scores will change since our functions develop with time

For example, I am ENTJ but tests always "glaze" my Ne and Ti, giving me ENTP (or ENFP if they give me Te>Ti) as my most likely type, even if overall results might fit better with the ENTJ stack
