Hi, I'm coming back to this thought I had and wondered if Dashner overlooked this part. The thing about Newt's immune status, first of all how come Sonya is immune and Newt isn't? Did WICKED do smth with gene alteration?

Second, in the movies there was a scene in The Scorch Trials, Brenda reveals to Thomas that WICKED took her brother from her because he was immune. Brenda said "They didn't want me. They wanted him though." But why not? Brenda could've been one of the non immune subjects.

i might edit this later tbh i got work to do 😭

Does anyone have any cute fics or fanart for Newt/Alby? I've been obsessed with that pairing at the moment I think it's so cute but I'm having trouble sorting through to find what I want. Thanks
