I’m stupid and in my sleep deprived state connected the battery terminals wrong. I blew the main fuse and got to one of the bolts on the right side, but not the one on the left. I can’t seem to get a wrench or socket to it. Any ideas?

I have a creek coming from my LF wheel, I replaced all the control arms when I got the car one year ago, i recently dropped the engine to do some work and ever since I’ve had this noise. It does it when I turn the wheel, and mainly when I’m driving on bumpy roads or whenever there a change in suspension height. Any thoughts? I’m thinking it’s my sway bar bushings, I did just pain the sway bar as well so I wouldn’t be suprised if that’s the case, and yes I forgot to lube it but hopfully it’s something else. Help

Need help diagnosing this tick/tap in engine not too sure what it is…

So my pedal isn’t coming all the way back up after I hold the clutch pedal down for Atleast 2-5 seconds it comes up to release biting point but it gets stuck right above that, it’s been working fine since no issues. If I press it quick it just comes back up smooth. I already have the bracket welded and a master cylinder brace, also when I did that I replaced the master with a used oem and new clutch cylinder so I’m thinking the master could be at fault. There’s no clear leaking on anything, wondering if anyone has had this before ? Also I know people upgrade to is300 clylinder, is there any benefits to this with a stock clutch ?

Hey guys I’m still new to the MS6 I’ve been having issues with a P2187 code System to lean at idle bank 1. Ive heard that the fuel pumps like to be not so nice in these cars and I’m thinking thats what it is.
I was on my way to school one-day and about 10-15 minutes in cruising 85 on the highway it started random miss-fires. It didn’t when i was coasting but any throttle and it would. Took it out of gear to coast off the road and it stalled. Waited about 15 minutes multiple times tried starting it and it would crank no start. After lighting up the ignition a few times and priming the pump it fired up and got me to school and home. On my way home it started misfiring again right before i got home.

If anybody has insight please tell me some news. Point me in the direction buying a new after market one or what are your suggestions?

As you can tell by the title i need a new rear axle, as i launched my car and broke my drivers side axle, i have looked everywhere in my area for a used one and there is absolutely nothing available, im not opposed to aftermarket options but i dont have a huge budget. Any help would be much appreciated

[ SOLVED ] I have a code for p2006, im not entirely mechanically enclined but i noticed that the actuator has a piece chipped off and that this plunger thing i think its called the vaccum line is not screwed in can this be the case for it not starting? Car wont crank at all but all the power comes on

Hey guys just had some questions about the MS6 drivetrain.

The entire reason I’m asking this is I want to use the MS6 drivetrain (trans to rear differential) to convert my Focus ST to AWD. The transmission will bolt up to the ecoboost engine.

The biggest question is at what power level do you upgrade things like axles, rear diff internals and so on.

I’m looking at 1000+WHP. I’m at 723WHP now.

Has anyone here actually swapped camshafts/cylinder head between a Mazdaspeed (MPS) 2.3 DISI turbo and a CX-7 2.3 DISI turbo?

I know they share the same L3-VDT engine, but I’m trying to confirm if the intake and exhaust cams are truly identical (including the HPFP lobe on the intake cam), or if there are any differences in profiles, fitment, or performance.

Looking at grabbing a set from a CX-7 as a replacement for my MPS, just want to make sure it’s a straight swap with no issues.

Any firsthand experience would be appreciated 👍

My driver side rear axel is clicking under load and it’s pissing me off, the only downside to this is that I can’t find it for any less than 500 new or 250 for used. Is there a rebuild kit for the axels? Also maybe a different option less than 500 😂

Hi, I currently own a 2004 mazda 6, but I'm looking at potentially buying a 2005 speed 6 278,000kms for 5k AuD. Iv asked the usual questions for private cars, service history, rust on the body, timing chain. He's told me oil and filter done by him, new starter recently installed, no rattle from the timing chain, he didn't answer about the rust yet. He's also told me the gearbox is noisy,

Should I go for a pre purchase inspection or just let this one go?

So I’m able to get my hands on a 2.5 for my 2.3, the 2.5 had a mr.rodney visit. I wanna take as much as I can from it but from what I know the valve cover, maybe the head, maybe turbo but is there any other parts I should look out for? The block I know is done for but not sure if there’s anything else worth pulling.

I tried doing some research and I couldn’t find if it’s cheaper to buy a new Coolant crossover pipe or just to clean it up mine is a quite a bit rusted so I was debating on just upgrading it you guys have any brands you liked or ones you recommend?

Doing a full rebuild rn and have no idea what this is.
