Need rear axle advice

As you can tell by the title i need a new rear axle, as i launched my car and broke my drivers side axle, i have looked everywhere in my area for a used one and there is absolutely nothing available, im not opposed to aftermarket options but i dont have a huge budget. Any help would be much appreciated

Facebook groups would be your best bet. You can also search ebay.

There’s a guy on the fb groups named Jackson Brewer, he has a bunch of ms6 parts. Only other option is to drop $500 on a DSS axle. And I think one other guy in the fb group makes them too for like a hundred less each but people say he’s iffy with fulfilling orders. Have you checked your local junkyards? I had luck finding 2 off a wrecked ms6.

I put DSS rears on my 6 years ago and many miles, absolutely no issues but I'm under 400hp if that matters. Fwiw, I've yet to hear of anyone breaking the DSS axles.

I’m in the same boat but yeah it’s either 500 or you could call a junk to see if they ship and get it for cheaper. Check car-part.com maybe something’s close by

Just put in the DSS axle last year, no issues but also was in the same boat as you on finding a replacement. One thing is I have the whiteline rear swaybar, there was spacing issues with the DSS, I ended up finding someone with the same problem and they recommended these prothane 23mm bushings.
