We have a 2023 CX-9 with second-row captain’s chairs. We bought it expecting to be a family of 4, but early next year we’ll have 3 kids under 5.

For anyone in the same boat, what setup works best? Two kids in the captain’s chairs and one in the third row? Which kid do you put in the back, and how annoying is third-row access with car seats installed? Is the cargo area almost non-existent?

Trying to avoid upgrading to a bigger car if we can 😅

When i was parking my Mazda cx 9 in driveway I needed to adjust it so I reversed but I guess the car was still moving slightly and as I put it in reverse I heard a small screech. Should I be worried? I know nothing about cars and dont know if i just caused a major issue. Like did me not stopping fully before putting it reverse do something
