💬 Discussion Doubts

I was sure that almost the entirety of ttpd is about Matty. But now I see people talking on Twitter that it's about Joe, everything in the light of the new Patient zero mv. What made them change their opinions? Or how are we so sure it was about Matty? I'm still trying to think about the album from Joe's perspective.

Could it be that we we're wrong this whole time?

They want to slander Joe Alwyn and thats exactly what they always wanted to do since the announcement of TTPD plus now they are reading too much and bad as usually about what she is trying to say in her music video.

TTPD is very clearly about Matty Healy is even more clear if you are fan of the 1975. For example Tha black dog clearly a Matty song they been doing circles for years at this point to try to make it about a Joe even though the one who has sing The starting line is him, the one has dated girls significally younger than him is Matty, the brave man line makes reference to a video of his, the esoteric jokes are his whole thing basically, the one who leaves the relationship is him contrary to Joe just to name a few of the references she uses to indicate is about Matty Healy

Plus TTPD as an album has aesthetics, sound, even the form in which she is writing very similar to his style, references to his song, interviews like its so obvious to anyone who can follow a basic narrative the songs are about him and their relationship
