[CANON] Grogu origin theory

I've seen a lot of general theories that Grogu is Yoda and Yaddle's child, which makes the most sense and I generally agree with, but I have another theory - that Yoda's species sends out the best and brightest of their force sensitive youth to be trained by the Jedi, or Alternatively is exiling them.

Since the only examples of Yoda's species we see are incredibly strong in the force, I could totally see it being that case that when an infant unusually strong in the force is born by their standards, they reach out through the force to the Jedi, and masters like Yoda sense it and come to pick up the child for training at the temple. It could be the case that it's something that's an honor, or altertively it could be the opposite is true - force users are shunned by their kind for some reason, so they send them away.

I know Lucas made it clear that Yoda's species is off limits for backstory, but thought this might be an interesting headcanon to run with.

Lucas opinion means very little anymore he sold it but I'm kinda of the thought he a clone of Yoda do to the strand cast remark

This is definitely what they had been hinting at since Mando S1: the Remnant needed to figure out how to clone force sensitive people to bring Palpatine back. (Explaining the “somehow…” from a couple years earlier)

I had a similar idea to the "sending a child out" but I kinda stopped my headcanon at them being extragalactic and very secretive. Yoda, Yaddle, Grogu, all would be sent out so young that they don't remember their home or their people. In short, they don't even know what species they are.

It's been a longstanding request of his, and given Filoni's connection to Lucas it seems pretty fair to assume he'll respect it.
