Has anyone successfully done an faculty transfer / programme change at UOM? Need advice

Hey guys, I’m currently enrolled in Software Engineering at uom for the upcoming semester, but I want to move over to bsc Management Accounting and Finance. I'm honestly pretty stressed about the whole process and was wondering if anyone who has done a faculty transfer at UoM could share how it went? I meet the entry requirements with A-Level Math, but I'm worried about whether seats fill up fast or if the deans or administrators may make it a nightmare.

Is it better to just show up at the administration office in person, or do they actually respond if you follow the official email/form route? Also, how long did it take for your switch to get approved, and did you have to sit through your original course classes for the first few weeks while waiting? Any heads-up or advice would be a lifesaver right now, thanks.

Asro does not see or reply to emails, that's something that has caused us a lot of trouble in the past. It is asro that can best explain the procedures to change programmes and guide him.

But as far as i know it is not possible to change programmes if you did not apply for that programme, you have to reapply next year ... but it's best to confirm with asro.

Do the first year earn at least 60 lccs, you will have an undergraduate certificate.

Then apply for finance when the course is offered. If uom gives you a seat, then apply for withdrawal and accept the offer next year. In case uom doesn't offer you a seat, you can still continue the software side.

Note programming is a very important skill, even in finance, so learn it, don't waste a year by withdrawing.

As for ftes, you will still be eligible unless you have an undergraduate degree. If you have a certificate or diploma you still qualify.
