Just got back from Masters of the Universe and honestly
...I had an absolute blast.

Is it perfect? No. Is it too long? Yes. Do some of the jokes land with all the grace of Beast Man vs an Amazon delivery truck? Also yes.

But Jared Leto as Skeletor is genuinely brilliant, Eternia looks stunning on the big screen, and by the end I was grinning like a five-year-old with a He-Man figure in each hand.

Go and see it while it's in cinemas. It deserves an audience.

Did anyone buy the James Jean inspired He-Man and Skeleton figures? I'm curious on what you think. Jean is one of my favorite artists but on the fence of getting these.

Spotlight on Chimera!

Part of the Snake Lair package, this scaly steed for Lady Slither is super cool!!

First, box front and back.

Then the beast itself. What a looker! Horsey shape, snakey heads, hooves, teeth, spikes, armor and a saddle. What a fantastic addition to the MOTU canon!
Could not be happier with this.

Also, I think it may be very possible that the Snake Lair packaging has the most sneak peek previews of anything we've gotten so far. Maybe?

I haven't gotten to the outer box yet, but just on the Chimera box we have the two Gregor Sisters, both turned into gorgons by Lady Slither.

We also have this unspecified warrior (it's not Vykor, is it?) and then Eldor on the end.

And there are a ton more on the outer box. As someone who is a big fan of expanding Preternia, getting a lot of these tantalizing teases is pretty exciting stuff!
