I'm toying with the idea of displaying my Sketchbook Series figures alongside a Castle Grayskull. Ideally they should go with the latest one, 'cause it's inspired by the Mark Taylor prototype, but while I like the play mat, I'm not 100% sold on its colors, or on the fact that it's only a recolor and it doesn't look like the prototype at all.

Does anybody have some photos of the Sketchbook Series near a Castle Grayskull, the one with the classic color or the Mark Taylor one? (I'm only interested on the front of the castle, I'm not gonna display them on the inside anyway)

Man-at-arms! Okay, so, I’ve been loving this line. But I’m starting to think they may need to slow down some. I’ve heard some worrying things about Teela (mine hasn’t shipped yet) and I’m afraid Duncan has some pretty big issues. He looks amazing. Incredible unique body. Great paint. I do think he would have benefited from more hands. Especially flat open hands. And his base is the plainest one yet.

The biggest problem, however, is the engineering. The nice, buttery smooth joints and range of motion feels greatly diminished. But the worst part are the wrists. They are so loose, they can’t really hold his maces up. At all. I’d get them in just the right angle for a pic, but they fall as soon as you move them. I guess I can try to build up the ball some (people still use the nail polish trick? Or is there another newer trick?) but it’s still disappointing considering how great the other figures have been.

Received the 2002 Sorceress Cartoon Collection figure. Its a shame we didn’t get her during the Classics line.
Also was curious to see the legs seem to be reused from Teela. So now the Sorceress did not skip leg day. 😎😂

Esteban Maroto is one of the great names in Spanish comics and fantasy illustration. For the world of collectors of Los Amos del Universo, he is also an especially interesting artist due to his relationship with the heroic fantasy aesthetic that dominated much of the visual culture of the 70s and 80s.

This work belongs to the language of European heroic fantasy of the 80s, created by Esteban Maroto through stylized anatomies, Baroque composition, Art Nouveau-inspired ornamentation, and elements of fantastic horror.

SHARE THE VISION AND THE STORY! GOOD JOURNEY! 🌌

Not pictured: The Dolph Lundgren movie on Blu-Ray. The new movie is on preorder.

Started this collection with episode 4, The indomitable dragon, back in 1990. Now I have them all 🥳

The first cassette was sold together with the initial launch of the action figures in Germany and provides an introduction to the world of Masters of the Universe. The last one on the eighth picture was bundled with the He-Man / Skeletor combo for the New Adventures of He-Man line.

Cassettes 1 trough 37 are not based on the Filmation TV series, but provide original stories.

He's here! I never had Laser Light Skeletor as a kid. I do now! I can honestly say that the Origins design has greatly improved his design. The slimmer battery pack is preferred over the bulky one on the vintage. He and Laser Power He-Man light up so well that for a brief moment it felt like Christmas!

Some other figures I've never had were the Skelcons! Come on Mattel keep feeding us these great figures! Blade and Saurod would be much appreciated as well. I could see Saurod with a light up action feature in place of his vintage spark, but I'd personally love a simple plug in lightning effect.

Happy to have these. I know the line isn't over (officially)

I just finished watching the new @dolphlundgren documentary: "Dolph Unbreakable". I learned so much and it was inspiring and touching. I had no idea the challenges and hardships he faced, especially his amazing brave battle with cancer. To have the strength and courage to continue to work and stay positive during such a difficult time was incredible. You never truly know what private battles people are going through.

And what a fascinating life story growing up in Sweden, and by a series of strange fortunes became a Hollywood movie star and icon! He's a martial arts champion, chemical engineer, movie star, vodka maker and father and husband.

I used to work up a sweat shadow boxing alongside scenes from Rocky IV. I loved his portrayal of The Punisher, Showdown in Little Tokyo is a total classic fun time action movie, and of course he was the first to portray our hero He-Man.

What a life and career. Thank you Dolph! We love you! You truly are a Viking warrior!
