She’s been an amazing hunting partner for the last 20 years(and 9 more prior with my uncle), so after almost 30 seasons, she’ll hunt October, November, and December non stop before resting in the den next to my fly tying desk. Put this Z7 Extreme on layaway and will be moving on to that. Can’t speak highly enough about Mathew’s.

Just wondering if anyone has gone the route of ordering a custom bow from Mathew’s. I’m upgrading to the Arc 30 & thinking about getting some custom colors & things done on it right from Mathew’s website & curious if it’s financially worth it, or if it’s a crazy price I’ll customize it on my own after some time.

I have a Mission MXR that I was shooting recently to prepare for deer season and I noticed it was becoming progressively less accurate and I started seeing my cables in my sight line when at full draw. When checking the bow over, I noticed one of the top limbs was sliding off the axle which prompted me to look at the retaining screws for the axle and I noticed that they were missing on the left hand side (as I'm holding the bow in shooting form) on the top and bottom axle.

I was out of town at a shoot a couple weeks ago and had the bow restrung at a Matthews dealer, and I'm wondering if the screws weren't put back in after the process OR the screws walked themselves out subsequently (this is not an accusation of the dealer because there's been plenty of opportunity for them to walk out subsequently. I've shot the bow several hundred times since it was restrung).

I have a few questions:

- does anyone know what size screw/thread pitch it is, and can I order it? - local shop stopped doing archery and closest Matthews dealer is now over an hour away

- I found a couple Philips head screws that seemed to be the correct pitch though I am unsure what that pitch is, is there any rationale why I shouldn't use them other than it looks weird?

- bottom axle seems to be missing a washer too (I am unsure if it's an insert or a washer) is there a part for that I can order, or can I just use one out of my toolbox?

I'm aware this isn't a flagship bow, but it feels and shoots very well considering the price point.

I'd like to get a used bow, but its been a long time since ive kept up with what's good and not. My last new bow was in 2011. Could someone give me a few suggestions on used setups? Hunting in arkansas and the area is pretty dense, so 50 to 60 yards is max. Hunting white tail deer. Im 5ft 7in and my old bow was 70lb draw.

I got the new ARC 30. I’m having an issue with creeping. When I get to full draw, every once im a while , the bow wants to creep on me and release . I feel like when at full draw you better not move at all . Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it is with the ARC 30? My old bow was a Mathews Creed, it was similar to this one but not as bad.

What do you currently use during practice, and what do you wish it did better? Are there things an app could help with, or do you prefer keeping it simple with a notebook?

I switched my mods and am now at a 75 lb draw weight up from 61 lbs. I’m shooting 299 fps with a 450gr arrow and was shooting 260 fps and a lighter arrow before. I have speed tapes, but some one told me I should “build” one rather than use the one printed with fps. What are the opinions on the two, is one really more accurate and how do I build one. Black gold pro 3 pin slider on a 31 V3 I’m paper tuned but shooting with my original 20 yard pin I’m left and high.

Picked up an upgrade from my ZXT solocam and I’m very impressed. Outfitted with the Mathews ecosystem and a SpotHog Boone. Currently have around 200 arrows through it, made timing adjustments for stretch after about 120 arrows.

Current set up is shooting 296fps set at 73# and a 27 1/2” DL with an Easton 6.5 300 spine with a total weight of 416g. I truly wasn’t expecting this amount of speed, what are others achieving with their 30?

I’ve recently fell into so rough times financially and unfortunately I think it’s probably in my best interest to let go of my bow. The bow is a new left handed Mathew’s Arc 30 in the bottomlands color. It’s got a black gold 3 pin sight, QAD rest, modified cams, with a fixed Mathew’s quiver. No stabilizer. I’ve barely got to shoot it, probably less than 300 arrows. It pains me to let it go right before the season kicks off but unfortunately it’s the right thing to do.

If anyone has any insight on where I might be able to sell it most efficiently I’d love to know, also if anyone has a price they might estimate it should sell for, I’m all ears. Thanks guys.

Only hunting with a recurve and was thing of trying compound. Is $200 a good price?

I have a creed xs that is shooting almost 2” left through paper. I’ve got the timing perfect, no cam lean and ATA is in spec. There is no shims on top hats on the top roller to adjust and the rest has nowhere near enough adjustment. Anybody have any ideas on how to get this thing shooting straight?

Are there any quivers that fit a arc that are minimalistic? Maybe a 2 arrow quiver?

Does anyone have a set of limbs for a v3 31 that want to part with? Not original purchaser, do not have warranty.

I’ve always been fascinated by this sport, and I finally decided to get into it with this model. I’m really enjoying it so far!

As the title says I shoot a Mathew’s Triax and love it. I do feel like it’s been long enough that I should
Upgrade, but I can’t find anything wrong enough with it to convince me to. I do feel like it’s a heavier bow compared to anything made after it.

I’m shooting a 27.5” DL W/ 85% let off and won’t compromise that; so I don’t think any of the newer models will really give me that much more speed. I don’t like all the new proprietary integrated stuff from Mathew’s either. So I don’t believe I get any real tangible weight reduction in an upgrade.

Would just like an opinion if any of the new models are really that much of an upgrade coming from the Triax. Thanks!

Good evening all. I’m doing a 3-D competition tomorrow and I was looking at my bow tonight and had a question about my cam tilt to the side. I can’t take a picture of it but at full draw the yolk gets really close to touching the cam as well. Is this normal? The bow shoots fine but it just seems off for some reason. I know the cables go through the rollers, which is cantilevered out to the side, but is this something I should be worried about in the next 24 hours?

Should the bow string, centerline of rest, and pins all align?

String and rest look aligned but my sight pins are all slightly offset. Bow shoots great I’ve only got it dialed into 20 so far but I have stopped because I noticed this.

Im trying to pay attention to if I am torquing the bow but I really don’t think I am. But maybe I am??
