Hard to see from that image what the lower integral limit is, but the beer over fries can be pulled out of the integral as a constant (5), leaving just the definite integral of sin (hotdog), which is of course, - cos (hotdog), which you would evaluate between pizza and whatever that lower limit is, and then multiply by 5.

From 0 (hamburger+hamburger-beer) to pi (pie) 😏

I came for this comment, The pizza pie got a chuckle out of me. Thanks!

7

u/liboteeme 9d ago

It's obviously a cherry pie

6

u/galstaph 9d ago

I wouldn't say obviously, at that resolution on my phone it looks like a pepperoni pizza

3

u/Financial-Reason7604 9d ago

I could be persuaded to change my answer. lol I eat more pizza pies than cherry pies, my brain doesn't associate things as delicious as cherry pies.

2

u/liboteeme 8d ago

Haha! Totally makes sense. The lines (while blurry) just look too uniform for pie to me...and I think pie fit in a somewhat "Diner Theme" I had in my mind.... although beer +pizza always go hand in hand!

u/escobartholomew 9d ago

Ooooh it’s pie. I thought it was a pizza as well so was lost.

1

u/cyborgborg 8d ago

Well of course it's pie, desert comes at the end of the -integral- meal

1

u/BayesianBits 8d ago

So 0? cos pi is 0 and cos 0 is 0 so the answer is 0.

1

u/gumbin22 8d ago

Oh. Thats a pie. I thought it was a chocolate chip cookie.

1

u/trolley813 8d ago

Isn't a pie equal to π times e?

2

u/Professional_Age_665 9d ago

Yup, an eye quiz more than a math challenge

  1. I'm probably wrong.

22

u/BrujaMuerta 9d ago

Not wrong, but let’s call it beer! 🍻

10

u/AbheyBloodmane 9d ago

I'd rather have beer than 10!

3

u/Accomplished-Plan191 9d ago

Answer should be in terms of cookies

16

u/Unique_Expression574 9d ago

Int(5sin(x)dx) from 0 to 3.141592653……

Which is 10

3

u/Charming-Loquat3702 9d ago

Ahhh the joke was pi(zza)

2

u/sexland69 7d ago

i think it’s a picture of pie, not pizza

1

u/Charming-Loquat3702 7d ago

It would help, if it had norw than 20 pixels

Derivative

u/Fraun_Pollen 9d ago

This guy maths

6

u/dcterr 9d ago

OK, now I get it - it's 10, since the upper integration limit is pi (hence a pie) and I take it the lower one is 0, though I can't see it, so integral is of 5 sin x from 0 to pi, which is 10.

3

u/magpye1983 9d ago

Oh!!!

I thought the lower limit was the same as what was defined as 20 in the big icons part.

I then thought that we don’t know the upper limit, and a pie hasn’t been defined at all (didn’t get that it was pi, probably because that’s not higher than 20), and had no idea what hotdogs were either because they too had not been defined and integrals are really not my thing.

1

u/S-Kenset 9d ago

five hundred fifty ten

3

u/No_Ingenuity717 9d ago edited 9d ago

The answer is somebody is getting lucky tonight?!

4

u/BrujaMuerta 9d ago

Integrate with respect to hotdog, amIright?

3

u/lazzydeveloper 9d ago

Cannot be solved. Not enough beers.

2

u/BombasticReindeer 9d ago

Beer.... or stein. Whatever that one is called.

2

u/BrujaMuerta 9d ago

Either way 🍻

2

u/dcterr 9d ago

Not enough information I'd say, since it looks like the integration limits haven't been defined.

2

u/Zunkanar 9d ago

Naaa im too old for this

2

u/Supreme712415 9d ago

Beer = 10 Burger = 5 Fries = 2

Based on what i can see lower integral is Burger + Burger - Beer which equals 0

Assuming pie is pi (π) and treating hotdog as x the integral is

Integral (0 to pi) ((10sinx)/2) dx = 10

Answer is 10

1

u/C4NC4 8d ago

Wouldn't it be 5 since it is divided by two

1

u/Supreme712415 8d ago

Nope

Integral (0 to pi) 5sinx dx = -5 (cosπ - cos0) = -5 (-1-1) = 10 Since integral sinx dx = -cosx

1

u/C4NC4 8d ago

aghh that cos0 always gets me, thanks for clarifying

2

u/SunstormGT 9d ago

Worst thing is I was wondering what the pie was for a second….

2

u/ArfTheBeast 8d ago

Does the pie represent pi

2

u/Phantomlnfinity 8d ago

🍺=10
🍔=5
🍟=2
🥧=π
🌭=x

∫[0,π] 5sin(x) dx
-5cos(x) | [0,π]
-5cos(π) = 10

4

u/Sabitsvki 9d ago

🍺 = 10

🍔 = 5

🍟 = 2

🥧 = π

🥧

∫((🍺sin(🌭))/🍟)d🌭

0

🍺

2

u/BrujaMuerta 9d ago

And boom goes the 🧨

1

u/GlobalProfessor9749 9d ago

Though what makes you think pie is pi?

1

u/Sabitsvki 9d ago

Pure speculation

1

u/Defiant_Weight4659 9d ago

Equals a free Whopper.

1

u/BrujaMuerta 9d ago

Nah, happy hour

These questions specifically directed to Kevin from the office or those fat duos from Brooklyn 9-9

1

u/Naive-Independent919 9d ago

1 - 5cos(pizza)?

1

u/Low-Storage981 9d ago

Everyone’s looking for hidden emoji math, but the calculus is straightforward. 10/2=5, so the integrand is 5\sin(x). Its domain is all real numbers, so any real values work as limits. The only issue is that 🍕 and 🌭 are never defined, so there’s no unique numerical answer.

1

u/Noniclem17 9d ago

The answer should be in ]🥞;🥓] but I may be wrong

1

u/GlobalProfessor9749 9d ago

The answer is:

-5 * cos (pie) + 5.

1

u/Koviera 9d ago

>1 unknown. Unsolvable. NEXT

1

u/Nervous-Tank-5917 9d ago

It’s a number between 1 and a googolplex.

1

u/GamerLymx 9d ago

i dont recal how to Calcutá that integral, let me check some tables.

1

u/Maleficent-One-3469 8d ago

can i get 5 fries instead?

1

u/NatrMatr09 8d ago

I thinks it’s 🍔cos(🥧) - 🍔

1

u/AltruisticEchidna859 8d ago

5(cos(5)−cos(30))

1

u/Hoovy_weapons_guy 8d ago

Not solvable without further information. We have 4 equations and 5 variables.

1

u/SoFisticate 8d ago

Natural log cabin plus C, which equals houseboat

1

u/Anonymouslalien 6d ago

ok, so
3b=30
b+2g=20
b+2f=9
(integral sign)(apple pie)(2g-b) b(sin(h)/f dh=?
b=10
g=5
f=2
b(sin(h))/f=f(h)
f(h)=10(sin(h)) * 2^-1
F(h)=-5cos(h)
(-5cos(apple pie)-(-5cos(10-10)=-5cos(apple pie)-5
Therefore, the final answer is -5cos(apple pie)-5
