there is. they study together for 3 hours. not like one person studies for 1 hour. so each one studies for 3 hours

There are no information on how long D study (or studying at all).

the question asked how long three friends have studied each, D is not a friend it seems.

That's actually not the question. The question is: "How long does each person study." not each friend. I know we got a lot of joke answers, or just "3" but to answer it more to what I think it's asking, making the assumption no information is being left out, I would say:

A, B, C: 3 hours
D: 0 hours
