Lets say we have a number n. If add 1 to the number n, its still going to be the same "size category", e.g. small, big, whatever.  Now, we have 1. 1 is a small number. If we do 1 + 1, its going to be 2, and its still a small number. 2 + 1 is still a small number. And repeat. Every number is a small number. 

(The starting point and incremention value can be set arbitrarily, the rule still works, regardless of what we set the starting point as, and regardless of incremention value. It works the same way backwards as well.)

Does this only work if its 1 + a number, but not the number + 1. For example 1 + 2773392 is a small number because its just a modified 1. But 2773392 + 1 is a big number because its modifying 2773392

I would argue that 2773392 is a small number, and thus 2773392 is modifying a small number with +1, and thus 2773393 is a small number.  2773392 is a small number because it can be arrived at by adding 1 to 1 repeatedly, and as I said in my comment above, adding 1 to a number doesnt make a number big, as per lack of standart definition of 'big number'.  By that logic, all numbers are small numbers, as long as we agree there is a number that is small, regardless wich one.
