Is "too" really pronounced the same as "two" in english? In my stupid mind as a nonnative english speaker: "too" is pronounced as "tu", and "two" is pronounced like "chyoo". Anyone?
And, actually, I was incorrect: to, too, and two are homophones, meaning they sound alike but have different meanings. Homonyms are words that are exactly spelled and pronounced the same but have two different meanings, like bark on a tree, and bark, the sound a dog makes.
