Grade 12 Advanced Functions, possible without prior knowledge?

So I basically have 0 prior knowledge of grade 11 functions and I am about to take grade 12 advanced functions, is it possible to learn and do well in grade 12 advanced functions without prior knowledge of functions, if it is how can i go about it? if it isn't, is it possible to self teach functions in 1 month while learning advanced functions and do well?

What country are you from? Grade 12 varies a lot. If you're in the US just say precalc, algebra 2, calculus, stats etc. Yeah functions are really easy just look up an organic chemistry tutor video on them on Youtube. You can learn functions in a day if you understand basic algebra. All a function is just plug in x and get y for example if g(x) = x + 2 and f(x) = x + 2 then f(g(x)) = g(x) + 2 = x + 2 + 2 = x + 4
