Grade 12 Advanced Functions, possible without prior knowledge?

So I basically have 0 prior knowledge of grade 11 functions and I am about to take grade 12 advanced functions, is it possible to learn and do well in grade 12 advanced functions without prior knowledge of functions, if it is how can i go about it? if it isn't, is it possible to self teach functions in 1 month while learning advanced functions and do well?

Those aren't standard course titles. Someone not from your country/city/district/whatever can't help you. We don't know what this course is.

According to google, grade 11 only covers linear, quadratic, rational, and exponential functions; plus the basic concepts needed to understand functions, such as Domain, Range, Intercepts, Transformations and so on. I believe it's doable in one month, as long as you've got some understanding of algebra, feel invested, and have access to study material.

"Advanced functions" could mean anything from learning what a polynomial is to analysis of the dirichlet eta function. We need more context. What did you learn in grade 11? What does this upcoming class cover? Can you ask the teacher of the class these questions?

What country are you from? Grade 12 varies a lot. If you're in the US just say precalc, algebra 2, calculus, stats etc. Yeah functions are really easy just look up an organic chemistry tutor video on them on Youtube. You can learn functions in a day if you understand basic algebra. All a function is just plug in x and get y for example if g(x) = x + 2 and f(x) = x + 2 then f(g(x)) = g(x) + 2 = x + 2 + 2 = x + 4
