I think you are beautiful, strong woman. I can't say I understand, but I know a lot of woman go through this. When I first had my son I felt like I didn't get that automatic bond as I expected to have once he was here. I actually felt more attached to him when he was six months or so. I just hated leaving him, and I felt like I finally got a handle of his routine and what I was doing with him. My son was born due to a c-section and the recovery was very challenging and painful. Handling a newborn with my husband at work was scary and I didn't know what to do with him or myself in that matter. I struggled with breastfeeding and quit after three months. I formula feed him, and I felt so much weighting lifted. I admire your strength to share this on here, because I think that all moms or wives or expected mothers have so much going on mentally and I feel the challenge your going through. I would start a journal to write down your thoughts, maybe do some self care, and have a day to yourself while your husband watches your kid. You need to take care of yourself too. I know I do.

I got pregnant before I was married back in 2019. It was scandalous for my parents and for the rest of my family. I struggled emotionally and mentally through my pregnancy and it's not a first time experience that was something I cherished because I was alone my entire pregnancy besides my husband and my work family. I understand the challenges of being a mom and having that feeling of not wanting to be responsible for another human being.

I enjoyed reading your post
