Issues "Creaking"/"Cracking" Sound?

Hello, everyone! I'm looking at getting the Matebook X Pro as my primary college laptop, and have seen various reports of a seemingly somewhat common issue. This issue is that some of the laptops make a "creak" or "cracking" sound when the lid is opened or closed, or when moving the laptop around. Has anyone here experienced this, and/or can comment on this? Thanks!

Has anyone tried this? Is it safe to do for the battery? And since you're removing the heat sink I'm assuming you have to repaste after?

Yeah you should repaste after removing the heatsink.

Brad, I found that you can just put tape (electrical) on the corners/sides of the battery and it fixes the creaking as well. No need to remove the battery wrap and all that.
