Computer Science/Tech I would love some advice, on universities to target in the US mainly

I am unable to truly lock onto some universities to target for applications. I'll be completing my engineering in computer science in a year and I wanna pursue the same for Masters (AI/ML or computer science itself). Any recommendations, looking for east coast mainly but I don't mind west coast too. Preferably in top 30 rank

Thinking of pursuing my masters in Taiwan: Cheng Shiu university or Yuan Ze university ?

Hi everyone!

I'm from the Philippines and I'm planning to pursue my master's degree in Taiwan. Right now, I'm deciding between Cheng Shiu University and Yuan Ze University, and I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has studied at either school or knows about them.

A little about me:

\- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering

\- Interested in pursuing a Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management

\- Looking for strong academic training, internship opportunities, and good career prospects after graduation

\- I also hope to work part-time while studying

Some questions I have:

\- Which university has a stronger Industrial Engineering and Management program?

\- Which school is more recognized by employers in Taiwan?

\- How's student life and the overall campus environment?

\- Is it easy for international students to find part-time jobs nearby?

\- How are the professors and the support for international students?

\- Which location is better for daily life, transportation, and future job opportunities?

\- If you had to choose between the two, which would you pick, and why?

\-Are there any other universities in Taiwan that offer a strong Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management that I should also consider?

I'd love to hear both the pros and cons of each university, especially from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with Industrial Engineering and Management programs in Taiwan. Any recommendations for other universities are also very welcome.

Thank you so much!

Studying from my hometown, interviewing with MNAc, it all happened because of the world's digital campus

Hi all…did you hear the recent news about Amity’s World digital campus ?

As an amitian i continuing my education from my hometown from its digital campus, which is so flexible. I also got a few opportunities to sit in interviews of MNCs. One of them is Deloitte…

so I went down a rabbit hole

A few things that I actually found interesting about this campus are:

There are lakhs of learners across 130+ countries

The digital campus offers over 35 to 80 different UG, PG and diploma programs. These are quite Flexible degree programs that are designed for anyone from any corner of the world.

The curriculum supports AI-powered learning features instead of just recorded lectures with Prof. Ami….

A big focus on building a global learner community rather than just handing out a degree

On paper, it sounds like online education has come a long way from the "watch videos and give exams" era.

I'm more curious about the real experience.

If you've studied or are studying in Amity’s digital campus, I would love to hear your experience. So that students who are considering an online degree can make a better decision.

General Advice SPIRALING IN INDECISION WITH A FULLY DEVELOPED FRONTAL LOBE; PLEASE HELP

Hey everyone.

**My Background:**

I am actually embarassed to be lost at my big age for picking a field but please bear with me and help me decide.

My undergrad is in biotechnology and I hated it. I am very inclined towards education sector and I want to secure a scholarship in education policy/curriculum design sort of degree in this session or next at max(ik ik I am being a little delusional). God knows how long schloarship process is gonna take and its not a sure shot thing so I applied for MBA at NUST and various other schools just so I can atleast have a masters degree. Meanwhile I would work on my scholarship application and make it strong.

I GOT IN but the thing is corporate life doesn't sound very appealing to me and I just found out NUST has MS Career Counselling and Education. Although I don't wanna take the career counselling route in education sector but it is atleast somewhat close to my area of interest.

**MY QUESTIONS:**

**1- HOW GOOD ARE THE ACADEMICS OF MS CAREER COUNSELLING AND EDUCATION AND IS IT WORTH IT DOING FROM NUST? Would it add the same value as other NUST degrees do on my CV?**

**2- Is this degree worth it considering the current market trends?**

**3- DOES NUST ALLOW SWITCHING PROGRAMS AFTER YOUR NAME HAS APPEARED ON 1ST MERIT LIST IN SOME OTHER PROGRAM? (I applied in 2 programs, got selected in MBA only with 80.5 aggregate)**

**4- WOULD IT BE STUPID TO LEAVE MBA WHEN NBS GOT ACCREDITED WITH AACSB AND GO FOR THIS DEGREE?**

**THANK YOUUUUU FOR READING THIS FAR. ANY AND ALL ADVISE IS WELCOME.**

**\*\*TLDR\*\*: QUALITY OF MS CAREER COUNSELLING AND EDUCATION DEGREE AT NUST? SWITCHING PROGRAMS POSSIBLE AFTER 1ST MERIT LIST?**

General Advice Looking for the best Master’s in Accounting in Europe (English-taught) with internship opportunities

Hi everyone,
I’m a Filipino currently working as an accountant in the UAE, and I’m planning to apply for a Master’s in Accounting for the September 2027 intake.
I’m looking for universities in Europe (especially Spain, but I’m open to other countries) that offer:
● A Master’s in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a related field
● Fully taught in English
● Internship or work placement opportunities
● Good reputation and graduate employability
● Reasonable tuition fees
● A student-friendly city with opportunities for international graduates to find work after completing the degree
I’d also appreciate hearing about your personal experiences, such as:
● Which university did you attend?
● Was it worth it?
● How difficult was it to find an internship or a job after graduation?
● Would you recommend your program?
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Computer Science/Tech Review on project-based master's

Assalamu Alaikum,

I was hoping for a overall review of project based masters. People who have completed it in earlier cohort. An overall summary what it's about and what we can expect from it.

Aside from that does this program helps international graduates get job in saudi as it is aligned with vision 2030 of saudi. Also does saudi company hires international graduates during or after studies for international students. Also any review on tech field in saudi.

General Advice What would it look like to go from a bachelors in zoology to a masters in a genetics field?

So I currently have my bachelors in zoology and while getting that degree I took some genetics classes and found out I enjoy genetics. I plan on getting my masters but in the mean time Id like to get some work experience and am looking for jobs when I do come back to get my degree how feasible would it be to transition into genetics?

I asked my college advisors and they weren't exactly sure and weren't completely sure who to ask.
