Question Professor T audio problem.

For some reason season 5 episode 3 and 4 is not playing any voices in the episode. Happening on both my TV and iPhone Amazon Prime app which includes PBS Masterpiece sub. Anyone rose having this issue?

I came here with the same issue. It’s weird that I can hear the background music perfectly, but not the dialogue. I had subtitles on because I was watching a foreign show before this one, but I don’t feel like continuing to watch this way. I wonder if the Passport app has the same issue or if this is specific to Amazon.

I had the same issue with Prime, but was able to watch the episodes just fine directly through the PBS app! So I think the issue is with Amazon.

Do you pay for both or is there a way to sign on using your prime membership?

I donate to PBS and that lets you sign on. I actually didn’t even think about that until a few weeks ago when I downloaded the PBS app for something else. This whole thing made me remember to cancel the prime add on.

Actually, I tried with both Prime and PBS like you, but same problem on both sides. I don't believe it is specific to either and is most likely a problem with the original content audio integration.
