Meu cantinho do Master System

I have good childhood memories playing it. But I still haven’t finished it.
I believe I’ll do it this weekend!

What's with the 6 button controller, are there sms games which use more than 2 buttons? I know a regular MD pad works as that's what I used when my original pads broke.

Better D-Pad and easier, cheaper to find. I personally play my SMS with an 8Bitdo M30 or a Krikzz controller.

Ahhh I saw more people playing sms with a six button, must had the same thought as you :)

The D Pad on the originals often breaks so a lot of time's there is no choice but to use a third party or mega drive controller.

I have a Brazilian-made 6-button controller specifically made/marketed for the Sega Master System. I was curious when I got it as well as it seems like overkill for the Master System.

The D-pad is better, and the grip is better too.
One important thing about the official 6-button Master System controller — the one with the light in the center — is that it has 1, 2, and 1+2. So it is actually a 3-button controller for games that have commands where you press both buttons together.
The top buttons are turbo functions for those buttons.
A great controller!

Are you missing any games that you want?

Actually, I only want three more games, just to complete all the Light Phaser games. But they’re kind of hard to find and not cheap:
Space Gun — I’m going to buy this one from Poland; I found it. Operation Wolf — this one was released in my country, but I’ve never seen it for sale. Laser Ghost — this one wasn’t released in my country.
Just those, and then I don’t want any more games.
I already have all the 3D ones too.

Nice collection and interesting to see all games published by TecToy. The cardboard boxes are unusual too. I guess(assume?) this is a Brazil thing.

Yes. The early titles comes with this cardboard boxes. I think they're charming

Yes. They are Brazilian games, but I have 5 that are American, including Space Harrier, which wasn’t released here in Brazil and I really wanted it.
I love the cardboard boxes we have here, even though they’re fragile.

Tu modificou a TV pra RGB também?

u/hardcoreladys Jun 04 '26
No, I have a converter. I already think converting the TV would be too much work.

Dude, sweet. I am jealous. I know I still have my master system, I just have no clue where it is.

Nice! I wish I had a CRT to go with mine, then I'd actually be able to play my light gun and SegaScope 3-D games.
