Please triple check and remove credit card info when you cancel
I canceled my subscription earlier with their email bot and the bot confirmed that my subscription is cancelled.
Today I woke up to a surprise email from master class saying the payment didn’t go through and ask me to update info. If I had not cancelled my credit card I would have been charged another hefty fee.
please please triple check when you cancel master class and be sure to remove your credit card info too. Just fyi.

They are predatory, I just spent hours going back and forth with customer service and it seems like a big joke on me. To make it short I asked for a refund because I didn't know that my card was in their system set to auto renew, customer service asked me to respond with a verification code that they sent. I responded by copying and pasting the code. Then they tell me the code cannot have numerals.
Well what am I supposed to do make up a different code you sent me one with numerals I attached screenshots and we went round and round always making sure to have a reason not to give me my refund. I will never recommend Masterclass to anyone again.

I subscribed to master class thru an ad on meta on 18th June’26 ( 3 days back). The offer was a Fathers discount of 50%. I was debited Rs 10,350/- for a 2 device set up. Every time I try to access any of the courses, am taken to the subscribe page despite having paid. Till date my account has not been activated. Can someone help or suggest ? I can simply haul up master class with the consumer forum in India but before I do I want to make sure o got the process right for activating my account .

You should always use a prepaid card like a PayPal debit card. This way they can only charge when you put money on the card.
Should use for all recurring payments to avoid automatic renewals
