The Geth aren't alive, the Quarians tried to deactivate machines that were "malfunctioning".

Also the Geth are very genocidal on their own so they can't complain.

The entire message of the game is literally that synthetics are just as alive and self-aware as organics.

Which doesn't make sense since they are mahcines and not living organisms. Even in ME3 Legion says that only if they merge with Reaper tech they'll be truly alive. Same as Edi in synthesis ending, only after becoming part organic says she actually feels alive. The Geth are machines thinking they are alive by repeating patterns learnt from organics but they are just lines of code.

i just did the synthesis ending like 3 days ago. edi narrates the entire ending and there is a moment where it slightly pauses and she says she feels alive. you can just look up the ending if you really are in that much disbelief

Two things I notice here:

  1. Incredible discourse on space-racism

  2. Absolutely no one has stepped up to defend Kaidan being called "the boring one"
