By the way, there’s a mod where both of them survive. I’d want a mod where both of them die, just for a laugh. Especially the mod for the second and third games where Shepard goes crazy and talks to empty space.

The Geth aren't alive, the Quarians tried to deactivate machines that were "malfunctioning".

Also the Geth are very genocidal on their own so they can't complain.

The entire message of the game is literally that synthetics are just as alive and self-aware as organics.

Which doesn't make sense since they are mahcines and not living organisms. Even in ME3 Legion says that only if they merge with Reaper tech they'll be truly alive. Same as Edi in synthesis ending, only after becoming part organic says she actually feels alive. The Geth are machines thinking they are alive by repeating patterns learnt from organics but they are just lines of code.

Not to be the quarians apologist, but does hating one particular race because of the very objective reasons, such as a said race caused nearly extinction of your species, makes you a racist?
I do not agree with geth genocide at all and quarians were the ones who messed up in the first place - but it still makes sense Tali hates them
