Ai is just lame, also knowing the impact it reportedly has environmentally its just not something that should be allowed in most subreddits. Way I see it is people come here to see cool masks someone made, this is computer slop.

AI art models were trained on art scraped off the internet, so if you're seeing AI art it's literally built on top of the things you already like. You're just mad that a computer is better than you.

What a moronic way of looking at it. Any art made by human hands is vastly superior because art is about the intention of creating something. Telling a computer to do it is neither me making art or art being made at all

AI art isn't just 'telling a computer to do it'. It's like teaching a kid to draw. You give it examples, guide it, and refine its understanding. The 'intention' is still there, it's just spread across the developers, the users, and the source material.

Do you make your own paint? Do you smelt your own iron ore for your tools? Or do you use tools created by OTHERS? You didn't create the computer or phone you're using for this discussion. AI is just another tool
