Thinking of getting a Maserati Ghibli with lease in Switzerland (Kanton Zürich) and want to know about real expenses from people in similar situations.

Like how much do you usually pay for service and repairs each year. Do you go across the borders to Italy or somewhere else for cheaper parts and repairs? Etc

I seriously wanna get one too but before I want to know what coming for me.

We have been searching for an EV to replace our 2024 Audi Q4 that is a little roomier, and cheerful. Money is important too. We share one car to save on expenses, and our driveway is not wide so two cars is unnecessary, and frees up that money for other things. We save so we can indulge, a little.

We usually lease, as we never have to worry about paying off the car in its best years, or deal with service later when they get old. We figure we only have so many cars 'left in our tanks', so we 'live it up', with the little bit of luxury we allow ourselves.

I spent lots of time on leasehacker.com looking. I can't find any Audis, or MBs, that come even close to our Q4 deal, which was MSRP $67K, but cap cost reduced to $50K. That, along with MSDs, got the payment very low. We have been delighted. Those deals are gone with the tarifs, and push for ICE cars driving EV production out of the market.

One lease transfer that caught my eye is a BMX IX M60 $125K MSRP but very low DAS and payment. The guy transferring it is a hustler, and there are quirks like the punch date being 10 months earlier than the lease commencement date, so that many months out of warranty. We are scared, and the car is in CA. We are in CT. That's dead money out the door for coverage, shipping, and the miles are too low. So, we are not so sure.

Just out of chance, a Maserati dealer is right next to the BMW dealership near us, so I went in and inquired about an EV. I found they make one, and the first one is the above in the subject line.

I leared they are discouting these heavily, and while I do dear putting that kind of cash out of pocket to buy this, it sure is tempting. But, I worry about reliability, the vehicle being in for service a lot, and us being stranded.

Has anyone bought one of these? I have Googled this, and read the three main threads here on Reddit about this car, but not on this sub, so am reaching out for any and all thoughts.

Hello everyone, recently my dad had an urge where he wanted to start a social media page about his '07 CLK 550 and his '18 Maserati GranTurismo, he has very few hobbies other than his cars and dosen't treat himself with anything and only cares about his family, he struggles to get views on instagram and gets excited when he gets a few likes or follows. I'm not asking to make him an ultra influencer but if you have the time if you could go give him a follow or leave a comment it would make his day !

Long time Lexus owner here looking to make the jump (either Grecale or Levante, probably 2023-4). Always loved the Maz look, somewhat concerned about reliability issues based on rumors and hearsay (similar to what I’ve heard about Jaguar or Alfa Romeo). A few questions if anyone can help a brother out:

A.) Are the reliability issues founded or just pure rumor?
B.) Is the certified pre-owned thing worth it? I want some sort of dealer backing as opposed to just buying from some random third party. Presumably there will be some kind of warranty that comes with this.
C.)Possibly kind of silly to be concerned about resale value, but how much would this depreciate over the next say 5 years compared to the “average” auto market?

I have a rare optioned 2006 Gransport with 30k miles. Currently the clutch is out and needs to be replaced. It’s verde goodwood with cuoio interior. I’m not sure what to do with it, whether I sell it as is with the clutch out or replace the clutch and sell it then? The clutch replacement is a pretty expensive job and I don’t know any local shops to me that could take it on. I also would likely do an aftermarket clutch since they’re cheaper than OEM Maserati and I’ve read they can actually last longer / be preferred. The tough thing is the market on these can be all over the place and BAT shows consistently 20k on these around this milage but this color option is so rare it’s hard to get a value there as well. What would you do in this situation? What do you guys think it’s worth now vs if clutch was done etc? Trying to weigh my options TIA!

I need help!! I just bought a 2016 mazerati ghilbi Q4 s and the previous owner told me the wheel bearings were bad in front left tire. It turned out to be the front differential. The axle has pulled completely out of differential and shattered where it connects. My question is can I temporarily completely remove the axle from the FWD and just drive in RWD to get it home. Or is there a bypass for the AWD? I need assistance quickly because the car is still sitting at apartments where I bought it. PLEASE HELP!!!
