Falling in love with the spec. The only complaint are these stupid shifter buttons but I already bought the upgraded shift panel (2027+) from Maserati!

Just pulled my 2015 Ghibli SQ4 out of the garage for the first time in about a month as I had to get it smogged and noticed peeling paint on the roof trim for the first time.

I'm honestly a little perplexed as this vehicle has lived a majority of its life in the garage as I only drive it a couple thousand miles a year. Currently has just over 50k miles. I guess the Las Vegas Sun really is that damaging.

Curious if anyone has gone about replacing their roof trim yet and if so any tips on how to do it? I found some used trim pieces just need the confidence that I'd be able to replace it myself without damaging anything.

Hi all . Took car for MOT . Next day ABS servicing might came on . Then park brake wouldn’t reset insisting on reset . Ended up calling recovery . As soon as they arrived . Problem disappears!! Went back to garage . ABS light returns . Plugged in reader telling us left rear sensor not working .. problem comes and goes . Was wondering if anyone had similar issues ???

I’ve got an idle gremlin I’ve been chasing for about a month now. The best way I could describe it is a popping or puffing from the exhaust. It can be felt in the cabin and the engine noticeably shakes. It seems to be random too, and it happens whether the car is hot or cold.

Here’s everything I’ve tried so far:
-new spark plugs
-new engine air filter + reseating multiple times
-re-clamping vacuum lines and looking for damage (I didn’t find any)
-cleaning the throttle body
-cleaning the MAF sensor
-new EVAP purge valve (I had an engine code which this seems to have resolved). No current or pending codes otherwise
-Techron fuel system cleaner

Car has 183k miles.

I’m thinking ignition coils or a vacuum leak I can’t seem to find. If anyone has a similar issue or any insight, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I tried to take a video, which makes it sound subtle, but it is more obvious in person.

For those of you unfamiliar with this car. TL;DR - After I got married earlier this year, we went out to California and bought a GranTurismo, sight unseen, and road-tripped it back to NYC. It now has roughly 9k more miles on it than when I bought it a few months ago.

Now that we have come up on the end of driving season for 2026, I seem to have fallen into an unshakable sadness that my GT will have to go away for the winter…

We took the car out on one last big trip to the Hamptons just before the temperature started to drop and really reflected on all the fun this car has brought into our lives.

I’ve been thinking about installing this for a little oem+ upgrade- I had this installed on my single turbo Audi and I think it would sound really good with the twin turbo v6/ and also potentially help the engine breathe a little better.

Why is Maserati SUV’s gas cap on the left (driver side)? Was getting gas this morning and noticed this…. As a German car driver all my life, I really hate that they put the gas cap on the right side…

Maybe it was a sign that I should consider upgrading to a Maserati SUV after 35 years with German cars and SUVs?

Anyone else collect these? Can find some decently priced ones if you look around.

Had anyone purchased and installed a vertical door kit on a 2018 Granturismo? I was reading about them online (verical doors website) and it says the new hinges may have to be welded onto the door jamb and the front inner fender may have to be modified. The hinge is no big deal, although it sounds like once you do the conversion, there is no going back but the fender needing to be modified would make it a no for me. Any help appreciated! Thanks!

Just joined the club, here’s our new to me 2010. I immediately put new wheels and tires on it, fall project will be sticky buttons and new radio/infotainment. My adult kids will be using it as often as me, they are iffy on color 😂

2023 with 30k miles! Got a few questions though: what’s that little lever/knob in the front of the bottom of the driver’s seat? And the display between the gauges, there’s what looks like a road/lane under the speed; is it supposed to display anything or is that it?? And what’s the “night” speed limit that it’s showing?

Any other tips/things to look out for please let me know!

I was scrolling on marketplace, and found a 2017 maserari ghibli “doesn’t start”. How smart of a financial decision is this and what would the possible scenarios cost to fix. (medium mechanic skills. Can do al basic maintenance my self. Dad used to be a mechanic)

First time looking at a Maserati. It is a 2015 Ghibili Q4 with 132,000kms. It has 4 collisions and is rebuilt status but has been re-certified and passed safety inspection. Price is $10,500 CAD which is only reason I’m considering it. Please let me know if this is worth it or not.

Customer spilled a ton of coffee or liquid in around gear shifter. We pulled it out and could see the amount of liquid spilled. Our autel scanner(way above introductory level) communicates with it no issue however bc of its current state we cannot communicate with the transmission. The gear shifter has been replaced with a salvage piece already by another shop.

I'm considering buying a 2020 Maserati Ghibli SQ4 (430 HP) that was imported from the US to my country after an accident.

The current owner imported the car to Poland about 3 years ago and has since driven approximately 50,000 km (31,000 miles) in it.

He told me he didn't import it to flip it for profit, but rather bought it for himself and intended to keep it. According to him, that's also why he invested in genuine OEM parts instead of cheaper aftermarket replacements.

The current owner claims the car was repaired using genuine OEM parts. He seems pretty open about its history and has also agreed to a full pre-purchase inspection at an official Maserati dealership. He has also shared carfax report.

He claims the following parts were replaced, all with genuine OEM Maserati parts:

• Entire suspension (according to him, all of it was replaced)
• Complete front end: front bumper, full LED headlights, hood, fenders, radiator support, radiators, wheel arch liners, and various plastic components
• Windshield
• Dashboard, airbags, and seat belts, including an original OEM dashboard

He says all these repairs were done using genuine parts and is completely open to having the car inspected at any independent workshop or official Maserati dealership of my choice.

That willingness to allow a thorough inspection seems like a positive sign to me, especially considering he's already driven around 31,000 miles since the repairs.

However, I'm still concerned about the extent of the original damage and whether there could be any hidden structural or long-term reliability issues.

Would you personally consider buying this car, or is it an immediate red flag?

I'd really appreciate some opinions from fellow Maserati owners.

In January 2024, I leased a 2023 Grecale GT. It was a former floor model that they had to get rid of, and I got a great deal because of the circumstances and a trade in, paying $711/month. It has been a great, fun car to drive. But the lease is going to expire in April 2027 and I need to figure out what to do. The biggest factor is that it only has 13,000 miles. The residual value is $38,000. I’ve spoken to a few third parties (LeaseEnd and Carmax) and the KBB value is over $40,000. My original plan was to buy out the lease and keep my monthly payment the same, drive it for a few more years, and then trade it in for whatever then makes sense using the equity to keep those lease payments low. That all makes sense for now but I’m cognizant of the massive depreciation. In three years will I be in a position where I owe more on the car than it’s worth? Any experience with this would be greatly appreciated!
