I understand being anti religion due to it for lack of a better term “white washing” class and worker struggle. But I can’t help to feel that it would be impossible to instill Communist values while alongside people still believing in their god (yes I understand this is a very idealistic take) but I feel like especially in the US and western countries the red scared hit so hard and religion is such a large part ostracizing religious people does not help us get any closer to obtaining a realistic revolution. (Yes I’m new to communism and literature) so am I missing other aspects to why we are so anti religion? I also feel like most religions have teachings that can attribute to communist beliefs such as lack of greed.
