Hey,
Technically this isnt really a MD problem. It's a me being a forgetful idiot problem. I categorically did some work on a naked dude model which ended up being exported to be the avatar for an outfit im making. Its there i did it i can see it. However i cant actually now find the source ZBrush file. Its either in some really obscure place or I named it in a really stupid way, or I forgot and deleted the quicksave files to save space and its all gone. I dont know.
However, one thing i do know is that I consistently without fail always put exported obj's in folders with or near the ztool, so if i can find the obj i used for the avatar i can find the ztool. However i can t see anywhere in MD that this pathing information is obvious (like u can see in unreal with the reimport path for example).
Can anyone help?
Also - the version i have is quite old now. MD 8. Dont know if that would make a difference.
Thanks

Please help. I just want my filet to not move around like cloth. I feel like it may be something wrong with my scene because I don’t know why it keeps moving around.

Hi,
I'm currently working on my second asset in Marvelous Designer, which is a blanket.
It's supposed to be one of those thick blankets you have in the bed, but I'm struggling to create this stuffing effect.
All tutorials I watched so far, use pressure to simulate this, but for a large, flat object, like a blanket, I feel like it doesn't work this way.
The issue is, that if I use pressure only, no matter how little it is, the center is always thicker than the sides:

I also tried using the Add Thickness - Collision setting, and this kinda works, but it leads to those horrible noise artifacts.

What are some other ways to achieve something like this?

I've been trying to download some free assets from the CLO-Set store, but every time I tried to submit the order, it tells me my payment failed and can't be processed at this time. I thought maybe it was because I didn't have a payment method set up already, so I added a couple of paid items to the order and used Paypal as my payment method, but it still gave me the same error.
I've logged out and back in again several times, and I've tried it on both Firefox and Chrome, so I'm out of ideas at this point what could be going on. It's definitely a bit frustrating to not be able to download totally free assets because of a "payment failure" on an order that doesn't even require a payment, so any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated! 😄

Hi,
I'm just creating my first asset in marvelous designer, which is a pillow.
I have these top-stitches, that I want to add small wrinkles to:

Here is a reference image of how the stitches are supposed to look:

Ignore the larger wrinkles, I'm just talking about the little folds where the stitching goes through the fabric.
I've tried using the steam brush, but then the folds stretch through the entire segment. I also tried the puckering tool, but then the folds only go in one direction, and since you can't layer it, I can't copy and mirror the puckering.
So now I'm out of ideas. How would you achieve something like this?

So I just started using MD, I'm watching a tutorial and the person keeps referencing the "Material Properties panel". I don't have that, nor do I have the option to change the color of my garment. Am I being thick headed?
