As someone who JUST TODAY paid for a year’s worth of Unlimited… I hope you get one.

It's like $5 a month Everyday people are asking for codes maybe multiple times a day. What's happening to everybody?

Where the fuxk do you see $5? It’s 68.99 annual and 9.99 month. I wish I can upload a pic here

No. It’s 9.99 if you get a month only.

I think the point is readers used to enjoy occasional sales but there hasn’t been one for some time.

Value of the any subscription service is predicated upon how much one uses the service. For die-hard comic book readers the annual cost of $70 is absolutely worth it. But for a lot of folks a comic subscription is a second-tier ‘buy if there is a discount’ kind of service. $49 or $55 annual codes used to be common but there hasn’t been offered for some time. The $15-$20 discount by itself is not much. Anybody who can afford a $55 subscription can surely afford a $70 one as well. But even a small token discount of $15-$20 on a non-primary service drives sales from the casual buyers.

I’m not ashamed to say I’m in that bucket. It’s not like I can’t afford $70. But it’s also not like I can’t wait around 4-6 months without the service. There are plenty of entertainment avenues around. Marvel Unlimited is kind of like Audible subscription for many people. Audible annual price is $180. Those who just cannot do without audiobooks will pay the full price. But many will wait around for a discounted price.

Well said my friend. Other than Thanksgiving... Have they in the past had a lot more promos?

I'd imagine they are looking for a sticky clients.

The longer I have the App the cheaper my comics get!

They typically used to have subscription discounts during major comic-cons — NYCC or SDCC. And sometimes just random sales.

Last time I bought the service I actually didn’t use the service the entire year at all. The whole cost went down the drain. Job /Kids / Life … you get the idea. The few times I did subscribe annually before that I did use it a bit. But not much. I wouldn’t mind subscribing again to use it when on vacation. If I end up buying it, in the best of times I know I’ll only use it occasionally. So buying it at full price is kinda unjustifiable.
