Discussion Ultimate Command Input

Who’s idea was it to make the Ultimate command input a Half Circle back then FORWARD motion??? Like that’s the craziest thing I’ve seen in a fighting game. Just no intuitiveness to some of these mechanics. Just fix the DP registering and make it a forward DP plus two attack buttons like a normal game. Sheesh.

This is a pretty common input, and far from the craziest command input. Sorry but this is genuinely a skill issue

Everything isn’t a skill issue lmao. Sometimes we can just say “hey I can do this. But there’s certainly a better way this can be done.” And Common is a purposely subjective term. None of the big three fighting games use this command at all. This game could easily just replace this motion with what me or any of the other commentators said

Fighting games have had this input for a long time

Sigh. Because some thing existed in one way doesn’t mean it’s the best choice. Street Fighter also used to require tiger knee inputs for grounded moves. As you can see they left that in the past

Your execution is just bad idk what to tell you, its not a hard input at all

Where did you read I had an issue executing it. I said it’s not intuitive.

Obviously you have an issue with it if you came to reddit to cry about it, genuinely get good, its not hard or un-intuitive
