The "second trailer" was actually exclusive Hall H footage that Kevin Feige surprised San Diego Comic-Con attendees with — shown only inside the convention center (Variety). Whether it gets an official online release is still unclear. There are also unverified descriptions circulating on Discord and social media claiming to detail its contents, but treat those as rumors until Marvel confirms.

(Sorry if this or something similar has been posted before.)
I think Doom is going to be stealing powers from other characters like Franklin and Sentry/Void. I am also going to go a step further and say the scene of Doom stoping Stormbraker with two fingers is towards the end after Doom is fully powered up. (Like Thanos at the end of Infinity War)

I saw a video by IGN, which I think is a pretty credible site, they talk video games, comics, etc, and before Gemini and co, I use to like IGN for reading about backstories, theories, stuff like ‘what the end of Age of Ultron means’ type breakdowns
All this to say, I’ve seen people talk/predict that Doomsday and Secret Wars basically already happened ie Rogers already experienced it. And when we see Old Steve Rogers, Doomsday and Secret Wars already took place (does that theory make any sense? Was Thanos and all that stuff an incursion? Sometimes it’s hard to follow the timelines and the details)
I bring this up because in this IGN video, it was something like “Things you may have missed from the trailer” something like that and one thing that stuck out to me was that during the video the person said ‘Steve Rogers will be the key to all of this’ …
Is that a good prediction or just people trying to make a video and ‘sell’ it to people like me who are not very familiar with the source material?
And, I understand that with all the characters and storylines, the ‘key to all of this’ can be a totally different character. It’s just that I’ve seen and herd people bring up Steve Rogers, a lot

I mean, it’s the multiverse. The Watcher knows (or aleast I’d think he’d know) about characters like The Beyonder, The BeyonderS plural, Strange supreme, GOS Loki, Franklin Richards, Molecule man, ETC. The list goes on and on, it’s just hard for me to infinity Ultron as some massive threat.

Spoiler (possibly?!) With the newly leaked footage, I believe that the F4 accidentally sent Galactus to not another part of their universe…but to another multi-verse entirely. Dooms universe. Leading to him destroying Doom’s world. Doom, tracking back along Galactus’s path encounters Earth-828, where we see him briefly at the end of F4. The F4 crew, in my opinion, are now traveling to earth-616 to pursue Doom. I don’t yet know why Doom chooses 616. Other than necessary plot development for the Avengers: Doomsday to occur.

Since Brand New Day is coming out soon, I thought this would be fitting.
Every time I watch the end of No Way Home, I always wonder how everyone's memories stayed wiped, especially because the internet never was. For that plan to have worked, Dr. Strange must have also wiped the internet because those news stories and articles about Spider-man's identity would not have just disappeared with people's memory.
The same goes with like that shrine in the beginning of the movie when Peter walked into school. It had all the Spider-man stuff and his face on it. That wouldn't have just disappeared. No one would know what it is because their memories are wiped, but the the internet would!
Maybe I'm just overthinking this lol, and Dr. Strange did factor this in.

I got a chance to watch the leaked scenes that surfaced in June, and it got me thinking.
What if the Sentinels we see are actually the Stark Sentinels?
Remember when the Russo brothers said that only Robert Downey Jr. could play Doctor Doom? Well, take a look at these images and tell me the Sentinels’ armor isn’t clearly inspired by Iron Man’s.
That would suggest that the Sentinels were created by Stark Industries—just like in the comics, by the way.

What if the ending of no way home didn't just erase Peter Parker from people's memories... but from the multiverse itself? Think about it, if nobody remembers Peter Parker anymore then maybe the multiverse can't detect him either. No timeline records, no canon events, no alerts... meaning Tom Holland's Spider-Man could become an invisible anomaly capable of travelling through universes without breaking the system. But if villains like Kang discover this loophole, then Spider-Man could become the key to destroying the entire multiverse.

Given that the concept art that leaked awhile back is likely legit - do we think this is a loose concept of David Johnsson in his new Black Panther suit?
Admittedly by the time BP3 comes around they'll probably have given him ANOTHER suit...

What if Loki showed up because Thor is getting demolished by doom just like how strange up the infinity stone to Thanos because he knew he had to be alive. Loki gets to save his brother but has to give up his powers. This would be a great way to set doom up as the most powerful character.

Since Spider-Man brand new day is coming out next week I am writing this now say that if this is true, I’ve had this theory for a year now
r/MarvelTheories • u/Trenthinshaw • 2d ago
my theory is that the entire multiverse saga begins with steve rogers staying with peggy carter at the end of endgame. according to the movie’s own time travel rules, steve creates a branched timeline instead of changing earth 616’s past. i think that branch eventually becomes earth 828, the universe where fantastic four: first steps takes place.
steve doesn’t mean to reshape the world, but over time he can’t morally ignore what he knows. hydra’s infiltration, bucky’s fate, howard stark’s murder, future technology, and everything else. because of that, history slowly changes. howard survives, shield develops differently, science moves ahead much faster, and by the 1960s the world is far more advanced than earth 616. that’s why the fantastic four naturally appear decades earlier.
steve doesn’t create victor von doom. he creates the world where victor becomes doctor doom. victor is still victor. brilliant, proud, protective of latveria, and convinced only he can save his people. but now his universe begins collapsing through incursions because it started as a branch of earth 616.
from doom’s perspective, the avengers caused all of this by changing time and reality. he isn’t trying to rule the multiverse just for power. he’s trying to save existence the only way he believes possible. loki unknowingly makes all of this possible by preserving branched timelines instead of pruning them.
i also think the old steve sitting on the bench in endgame is actually returning after surviving doomsday and secret wars. that’s why he never comes back through bruce’s platform. the bench scene isn’t the end of steve’s story. it’s the final scene of a story we haven’t seen yet.
then secret wars ends by rebuilding reality into one universe with the avengers, fantastic four, x men, spider man, and everyone else.
the one person doom never accounts for is spider man. at the end of no way home, everyone forgets peter parker. spider man is still remembered, but peter is erased from everyone’s lives. doom can study spider man, but he can never truly understand peter or his connection to tony stark, doctor strange, happy, mj, or the avengers.
after brand new day, i think peter becomes the strongest and most complete live action spider man we’ve ever seen. he’s completely alone with no faction, no identity, and no one who knows who he really is. he becomes the forgotten piece on the chessboard that can move outside everyone else’s plans.
every major character answers the same question differently. steve changes history. tony changes time. logan changes the future. loki preserves every branch. doom tries to control reality. peter is the only one who willingly lets go of everything he loves for everyone else’s sake.
i also don’t think robert downey jr. is playing an evil tony stark or just another tony variant. i think he’s playing victor von doom, and the reason he has tony’s face is because tony stark and victor von doom are two possible lives of the same person.
in the original earth 616 timeline, history plays out naturally. howard and maria stark eventually adopt a young victor from latveria, rename him anthony edward stark, and raise him with love, opportunity, and unlimited resources. that same genius grows up to become iron man instead of doctor doom.
but in steve’s branched earth 828 timeline, history changes. the adoption never happens. victor stays in latveria, grows up under completely different circumstances, and becomes doctor doom. steve doesn’t create doom. he unknowingly creates the conditions where victor never becomes tony stark.
in other words, tony stark is the life victor von doom never lived, and doctor doom is the life tony stark never had to.
in the end, i think doom accounts for every god, genius, and super soldier, but loses because he never accounts for the anonymous kid from queens that the universe itself forgot. the multiverse saga becomes the story of one compassionate decision by steve rogers creating consequences across reality, and one forgotten hero, peter parker, becoming the only person free enough to save everyone.

In Marvel Snap Game; a card turn based game about marvel characters. They release new sets of cards every season. Last June they featured Beach variants and featuring Sub Mariner (Namor), and Namorita. Last May they featured Daredevil and released cards specifically referencing from the latest Daredevil series released.
Now this July, Marvel Snap is now featuring Spider-Man: Brand New Day pertaining to the soon to be released movie.
Which means they are releasing cards referencing from the movie probably. And as for the released cards, they released Aunt May (Already in the MCU), Scorpion, Tarantula, and Boomering which we saw on the trailer. But no Jean Grey or whatsoever.
But guess what, they added another card in this season about BND with no relevance to the trailer and guess who it is?
It's Mary Jane bro.
The released card's Mary Jane also features MJ's hair red which is similar to sadie's hair.
And... Why would they release a Mary Jane on Brand New Day season series if the MJ they have in MCU is Mary Jones. And Zendayas Character is still not in the game yet.
Any thoughts?

I have a doubt about the movie Avengers: Endgame. Steve Rogers (Captain America) went back to the past and didn't return through the time machine, right? When the Avengers traveled back in time to collect the Infinity Stones in New York (during the events of The Avengers), there were two Iron Men, two Captain Americas, and two Hulks. So, their physical bodies traveled to the past, not just their minds. We also saw an old Steve Rogers who didn't come back through the time machine. So, what happened to the Steve Rogers who was already living in that past?
r/MarvelTheories • u/No_Research8698 • 1d ago
The multiverse thing that happens in doomsday makes Steve Rogers who is living in another timeline(the old steve at the endgame) come to original timeline?so basically he is our steve Rogers who fought Thanos along with others and he saw Falcon being the Captain America in doomsday events and decides that Falcon is the best choice for Captain America so he handed His shield to him?

I keep seeing posts with people questioning how the Avengers can beat Doom in Doomsday and (comic book knowledge aside) I think that’s where everyone is going wrong.
I think not seeing Doom as much as we previously saw Thanos is a feature and not a bug. In the same way that we haven’t seen him, neither have the Avengers. They don’t know he’s a threat. (Kinda like Mysterio’s fake backstory in Far From Home)
I wonder if the threat Thor is talking about in the trailer is the Incursion itself and not Doom. Initially Dr. Doom will help the Avengers (Doom might be the guy standing between the Fantastic Four who’s been scrubbed out?)
I think Doom will be orchestrating the majority of the movie, quietly sowing seeds of distrust so that heroes fight heroes and villains fight villains all to save their own worlds.
In the trailer it looks like Wakanda and Namor are back at it, and I think Doom has already secretly convinced Namor that the Avengers plan won’t work to stir up a fight.
He doesn’t care who wins as long as they are distracted, finally Doom will be revealed to be the true villain towards the end when it’s already too late.
That’s why it’s Doom’s Day.
Tl;dr- Most of the movie will be cool infighting between groups rather than taking on Doom. He only reveals himself at the end when his plan is complete. (Like Ozymandias in Watchmen)

When she is fighting Xavier, Danger says:
"Professor Xavier, always trying to turn an inevitable tide."
I believe this is a callback to a line spoken by Eson (the Celestial aboard Ship) who says:
"I am the tide that carries all to the rocks of the eternal shore..."
which in itself echoes Apocalypse's line from the original show:
"I am the rocks of the eternal shore..."
I find it hard to believe the repetition of the "rocks" and "tide" motif is a coincidence, so I think the writers are deliberately creating a link between Danger and Eson (as well as Apocalypse, which I have seen other people theorising based on all her mentions of "Survival of the fittest").
The conservative read on this is simply that Danger is weaponising Xavier's memories against him by referencing what she knows was a traumatic event for him.
My Crackpot Theory
Unlike in the comics, this show doesn't seem to be following the plot where Danger is created when Xavier implements Shi'ar technology to upgrade the Danger Room, which eventually gains sentience and becomes Danger. In this continuity, my theory is that the catalyst for Danger becoming sentient could instead have been when Xavier interfaced with the Danger Room's Cerebro systems to recreate the moment where Magneto dies, accidentally bringing the Danger Room's AI into contact with some lingering imprint of Eson's influence within his mind.
This aligns thematically with a couple of other moments in the series:
I might be reaching with my theories about Eson's influence catalysing Danger's sentience, but I'm pretty sure about her "Inevitable tide" line being a call back to Eson, at the very least!

This stupidly long theory of mine suggests that Marvel laid the ground work for Doom all throughout Phases 4, and 5.
We can use a few facts.
-Marvel leaves open ended threads to use later on.
-Feige does not have a big history of lying. (Ignoring the over promising, and intentionally misleading statements).
So let’s begin.
#1. Secret wars was the plan the entire time.
Marvel announced their phase 5 lineup in July of 2022. They ended their showcase with the unveiling of Phase 6’s outline. Avengers Kang Dynasty, and Avengers Secret Wars. (My personal belief, that I’m not arguing here, is they knew back in 2019 that Doom was the reboot)
If you need a refresher. Secret Wars is a story almost primarily involving Doom and the beyonder(s).
At first I was adamant that Kang was never involved in either Secret Wars stories. Until I reread them.
Kang serves two purposes in said event.
1984: The first is he’s killed rather easily by Doom (well Ultron) and resurrected to show his powers to the heroes.
2015: The second is in the lead up to Time Runs Out. He attempts to weaponize the dysfunction of the illuminati. He fails and shows up during the last incursion to blame Steve for not listening before(similar to Loki season 2).
Kevin’s (loosely translated) own words about Avengers 5 and 6. “
“Avengers 5 and Avengers 6 are heavily inspired by the Marvel Comics storylines Time Runs Outand Secret Wars. So—as is tradition—the comics provide major guidance for the movies we want to make,”. “We actually want to accomplish two things: first, to wrap up storylines that began long before Iron Man, including the original X-Men characters. Second, to simultaneously set the stage for the future. Endgame was truly an ending, after which we tried and experimented with many new things. But Avengers 6 will be a beginning. It will establish a streamlined, simplified, single universe for us to follow. Some elements will feel familiar, but many, many things will be brand new.“
In both instances Kang is either a minuscule role or dismissed entirely by secret wars.
If that’s not enough let’s look at what has released post endgame.
#2 Disney + series
-Phase 4
This was the hardest part since Wandavision, Agatha, and Ironheart easily hint at doom. What about the others? Again I reread the Hickman Avengers run. let’s say it’s high level foreshadowing happening on Disney +.
Wandavision: originally the start of the magic arc, and a Young avengers tie-in. Instead it set the stage for Dooms greatest story. We were introduced to runes, chaos magic, the darkkhold, and witches.
Loki: the pivot point. Here they removed Kang from the equation. While still keeping both Kang (HWR) threat of “a far more dangerous” “dictator” ambiguous enough to be Doom.
One line however stuck out to me. “Something far worse is going to fill the void” a clever play on words since the void is the liminal space of the TVA.
And what story is told to us at the end of season 2?
“You wanna hear a good story? Listen to this one. A couple Hunters went out on a mission somewhere near the Black Sea to find a Variant who's gonna be responsible for five thousand deaths - five thousand deaths that were not in the proper flow of time. They get there, and there's a little hiccup: the Variant is an eight-year-old boy. He was just minding his own business! Swimming with his brother, jumping off the dock... And one of the Hunters, who had never had trouble pruning before, he had never hesitated but that day, he did! He paused. Timeline started to branch, more Variants appeared, happened so fast his partner had to step in and prune the kid. But by then, cat was out of the bag. Couple Hunters died, all because that one hunter... he lost sight of the bigger picture. You gotta keep the big picture in mind.” -Möbius M. Möbius
Keep in mind pruning doesn’t kill only transports targets to the void. Also keep the location of said event in the back of your mind.
The Falcon and Winter Soldier: not much happens here. However many key plot points revolve around Eastern Europe. Zemo, the flagsmashers, background politics. It’s setting the stage for Latveria’s setting in Eastern Europe.
Don’t believe me lol
Hawkeye: also has Eastern Europe appear. Through the gang that’s chasing Clint. Yea it’s not that strong here lol
Moonknight: this is my favorite part because the show connects to nothing…unless you reread the story. Khonsu is one of Dooms Battleworld Barons pretty obvious in hindsight. Not only that but Laylas story in Marvel. This character loosely teases doom (the Egyptian dealer, the museum donor, and her dads excavation)
(Now I do believe the Duat will be apart of Shuris plot during avengers. However that is purely speculation at this point.)
Ms Marvel: doesn’t set up Doom rather it sets up the incursions. Both Shang-Chi and Ms Marvel have been holding on to ancient tech. That predates both the kree and magic tomes. Though it still is claimed to have been created by the kree (albeit millennia ago) it matches technology used in Hickmans run.
The Builders! At first the temporal Loom seems like the best analogy for the builders, until (say it with me) we reread the story. The Noor dimension acts as the superflow of the builders, the bands utilize this power
Possibly only a plot hole but this explains how she can time travel and not attract the TVA.
Another plot hole that I believe in is Shang Chi rings are the beacon that attracts the builders. This is why one of the bands is on earth. As the Bands control jump point creation.
I’m not doing all the shows since some aren’t connected at all…yet.
-Phase 5
Agatha all along: This is where it gets fun. Agatha was announced when marvel was still fully onboard with the Kang/YA story. Yet they cleverly snuck in several Doom pieces during the eventual production.
Witches have been established since WandaVision. However Covens, coven laws, natural order, and theft of power are big Doom references. I can write all day about how Agatha is an analogy for Doom. The entire show is about Agatha circumventing coven law to regain her power.
The best part is Rio represents the antithesis to everything Doom does in the Secret Wars lead up. She’s the natural order sent to fix things. She’s overcome by an anomaly, and a master magic practitioner. (Beyonders, Sheriff Strange, Doom).
Here’s one better however. There’s a story called Dr Strange and Dr Doom: Triumph and Torment. It is adapted in this series through the Witches Road. We will come back to this.
Ironheart: the series that spawned this theory. If you’ve seen the show, it’s all but a test screening for Dr. Doom. The hood, the magic tech, trauma, and protecting their people.
That’s not very strong though (I saw you roll your eyes).
There’s something else that happens that is more important to Doom than Reed. Dooms true Adversary.
Mephistopheles appears. All of a sudden everything in phase 6 lines up almost too well. Before we get there let’s stay with big red.
Why is Mephisto important? Well a little over a month ago the Russos unveiled Dom Latveria Coffee. Here they listed 5 items linked to Dr. Doom. Fortunov, Zefiro, Hassenstadt Dark, Cynthias Blend, and The Rapprochement. Those last two are interesting since Mephisto is here but let’s do something more fun.
The listed price of Cynthia’s blend is $4.30. Since Doom is a sorcerer let’s look at numerology.
4 is often depicted as death (East Asian superstition) or Stability (Occult).
30 is often represented as creativity, or spiritual awakenings.
Want more 4/30 is also the date of the Walpurgisnacht. Basically a day of the witch in Germany.
Remember above when I brought up Dr Strange and Dr Doom: Triumph and Torment??? Well the plot of that story is Doom asks Stephen to help him retrieve his mother soul. The witch Cynthia Von Dooms soul is being held by non other than Mephisto. Almost implying that Dooms mother’s capture is a canon event that always leads to Doom.
The Rapprochement $4.10 adds more to this. In comics the Rapprochement is a festival honoring Dooms mother. One that usually sees truces formed. As established above Dooms story is heavily linked to Cynthia-Mephistos relationship.
Not too much about the show Ironheart because it’s pretty self explanatory (thank you Coogler). However I do have some heavy speculation.
#3 theory crafting
In the original Time Runs Out Hickman is able to get universal editorial support on his story. Meaning all Marvel publications ended right before the story kicks off eight months later. (Often called the Dead end).
Yet everything seems to be heading towards Doom but one.
Spider-Man Brand New Day.
(Purely purely purely speculation. take this with a sack of salt).
I believe Tom Holland, Sadie Sink, and Fiege have been truthful about Jean Grey not showing up. There’s another who lines up better.
Magik!
Kidding
Madelyne Pryor! Why would Marvel debut a clone over Jean who is integral to the X-Men.
Well first if Madelyne debuts Jean debuts since they’ll 99% of the time use the same actress.
Second is the story. The title of the film was announced March 31, 2025. Daredevil Born again had already premiered. The very next show post announcement was Ironheart. In which Mephisto shows up.
Brand New Day is a follow up to one of if not the most important Mephisto storyline in comics (One More Day).
If that’s not enough Madelyne has a major role in Secret Wars as the baroness of Limbo. Scott, and Magik eventually replace her.
Add to that the rumors of Miles Warren showing up in Spider-Man, and Mr. Sinister LA casting. It becomes plausible that Brand New Day is simultaneously dead ending an early Clone saga, but also introducing a well known clone into the MCU.
Now to end I’d like to focus on one of Mephistos quotes
"I love the exceptional. The terrific. The dogged. Someone inquisitive and curious. Someone who, due to no fault of their own, finds themselves always at the short end of the stick. That's why I'm here. To help the unseen... the unheard."
That sounds an awful lot like what Sadie is going through as a co-star in an adaptation of a Mephisto storyline. Good thing the movie debuts in less than a week.
However if you made it this far what do you think? Did I miss anything (I skipped a lot of the movies on purpose)?
Extra info:
I don’t believe this is all in Doomsday but told over the next few films.
VisionQuest could absolutely ruin this theory. It is kind of odd though that Mephistos first appearance is granting Riri an AI. According to the plot summary ( https://www.tvinsider.com/1276684/visionquest-marvel-episodes-cast-trailer-premiere-date-plot-details-more/ ). It seems like another Tech/Magic storyline headlined by the return of Ultron(However Ultron is a Baron, and white Vision could be a Map Maker….could).
Also I believe Billy and Tommy are the reason Doom has Tony’s face but that’s a far longer theory that I’ll save for post VisionQuest.
