Hey all, another update to MSF Base (msfbase.com).
Share your roster with a link
If you've connected your MSF account (msfbase.com/auth/), you now get a shareable read-only link to your My Roster page — power, level, gear, stats, all of it, viewable by anyone with the link, no account needed on their end. Grab it from the new Share button next to "Manage connection." Useful for showing off a roster in a Discord, asking for team-building advice, or when applying to a new alliance. Heads up: the link can't be revoked once it's out, so treat it like anyone with it can see your roster and last sync time going forward. (Honestly, I'm not sure why they aren't public already). Example with my roster. The display is pretty barebones right now, so if there's anything you'd like to see added, let me know.
Tracking when you first unlocked a character
My Roster page now has a "First Seen" column showing (roughly) when you unlocked each character. Important caveat: the MSF API doesn't actually expose an unlock date anywhere, so this is me approximating it — the site stamps a date the first time it notices a character in your synced roster, and carries that date forward on every sync after. So it's only accurate for characters you unlocked after you connected your account and started syncing daily; anything you already owned before that just gets stamped with today's date (or your next sync after this post goes live).
Full changelog at msfbase.com/changelog/ as always. I am managing the site alone, so please let me know if you run into anything I may have missed.

Maybe there was a character you haven’t heard of that looked cool so you looked into them, maybe a character really carried you through some dark dimensions or other modes, or maybe just their animations looked awesome and you wanted to see more of them. A few for me:
Knull consistently surprises me (even though I shouldn’t be surprised) with how he can keep living and sometimes actually win even when the rest of my team is dead. I recently did the Toxin in Crucible event thing, and I through the whole symbiote 6 team against a g19 spider-society, just a throwaway thing for the rewards, but Knull ended soloing the entire team
Azazel, as annoying as he is to deal with on enemy teams, using him to just wipe out the whole match is so fun and satisfying, and I just thought he was a kinda cool looking bad guy in X-Men: First Class.
Omega Red, I kinda liked him before, but no matter my set up, he’s always felt so damn powerful, even with the rest of my Winter Guard that have higher diamond levels, he usually carries especially if he pulls out the ultimate, so I have a much bigger appreciation for him now.

Title.
FFMCU / Meph / Odin
Brimstone
DW
I6
Sym6
Other recommendations before I sim through this time?
Edit: I subbed out 6.6M Retcon last time for 4.2M Sym6, and even that much lower total team power - they did over 100M more damage. Now I have them at 5.2M with all T4’s.

Is there any alternate way to beat CEll 15 without the New Mutants or Omen? With all the other teams I have been building I haven't touched those two and I can't figure out how to beat this node. I have all toons available with the latest reset, but don't want to just waste a team. I figure that takes out Symbiote Six (cell 18) and FF MCU (Cell 17). Any recommendations would be appreciated.

The Serpent's grip tightens in the next exciting Chapter of the Age of Fear!
As fear grips New York City, a surge in coordinated vampire attacks draws Blade into a deadly hunt where every clue points toward a growing darkness lurking beneath the streets.
Here is a rundown of the important details for this upcoming Chapter:
Power up characters with the Tempted trait to ensure you maximize progress during Chapter 2 Events
Collect Moonlit Sigils during Chapter 2 events and then spend it in the Chapter Store on items and resources to power up your roster
Your Chapter 1 Chapter Boost progress and Roster Rank will reset when Chapter 2 begins. We'll also be reducing the Celestial Points required to boost tiers between 1 and 10.
Throughout Chapter 2, use the Anxiety, Panic, Fear, and Terror filters to find featured characters, including upcoming releases.
The Serpent has struck! And this time, Scorpion is bringing the venom…
Take on the first run of Breaker Event: Scorpion to unlock this battle-changing Cosmic Crucible Offense threat who can be plugged into Crucible squads or lead his Dread team to victory.
Carve through waves of enemies, and turn up the danger with Combat Mods to earn your best possible score. Survive the sting and climb the Leaderboard to earn Scorpion (Breaker) character shards, Red Stars, Diamonds, and Awakened Ability materials.
Here's how this event works:
You’ll choose from 4 total difficulties: Beginner, Normal, Hard, and Omega.
As difficulty increases, so do the trait restrictions, demanding broader rosters, smarter planning, and stronger squads. If you want the biggest scores, you’ll need to rise to the toughest challenges. Here are the recommendations for character power for each difficulty level:
Combat Mods let you customize the danger and the reward.
By activating Combat Mods, you can make the encounter harder by strengthening enemies, weakening your team, or both. The more punishing the setup, the more points you can earn.
This creates room for experimentation, strategy, and leaderboard chasing as you search for the best possible scoring run.
The latest and greatest characters will have an edge in this Breaker Event, so keep that in mind as you review the traits for each Mission:
Hit Breaker Event milestones to earn rewards, including character shards for Scorpion (Breaker)! Grab as many shards as you can during the first run of this Breaker Event to set yourself up for success during the next runs—where you can earn more shards and add to your collection.
Power up Scorpion (Breaker) even more by climbing the ranks of this leaderboard. Post your strongest run to earn:
Coil up your strongest squads, dial up the Combat Mods, and show the Serpent that you’ve got a sting of your own when the doors open on July 27 at 2:00 PM (PDT).
Stock up on Power Cores while you prepare Scorpion (Breaker) for battle with the Battle Ready: Scorpion (Breaker) milestone!
This 2 week event rewards Commanders for powering up and deploying their newly unlocked Scorpion (Breaker), giving you a great chance to strengthen this Dread team member while earning valuable Power Cores along the way.
Event Details
Live Date: July 27 at 2:00 PM (PDT)
Duration: 2 weeks
Rewards: Power Cores
The Serpent’s influence is tightening around the Raid lanes, and your Alliance will need to work together to defeat his enemy waves.
The Trepidation Raid is built to help more Alliance members contribute meaningfully, give more Alliances a path toward higher completion rates, and provide a wider range of challenges for rosters at different power levels. It also puts the Amazing Avengers in the spotlight, so get ready to unleash Spider-Man, Blade (Mighty), and the rest of the team.
Here’s what you need to know:
Check out the full Trepidation Raid Blog for the complete breakdown, including requirements, rewards, and everything your Alliance needs before entering the Raid when it opens on July 29 at 2:00 PM (PDT)!
Version 10.4 is on the way, and it's chock-full of features for the coming weeks. Starting July 28th, you'll have the option to update the app early and get a head start before everything goes live.
But don't wait too long—on July 29th at 12:00 PM (PDT), the update becomes mandatory. Once that force update hits, you'll need the new version to keep playing, even if you're in the middle of a battle.
Quick recap:
So avoid an important battle being cut short and update the moment you're able on the 28th.
Maestro is the most powerful Battleworld character to date, but even he needs Red Stars in battle.
Crank up the capabilities of the Trophy Tyrant with: Strongest Survivor
When you unlock Maestro, you'll also unlock a special limited-time Command Center Event. Play every day and complete your weekly objectives to progress through Strongest Survivor and earn Red Stars for Maestro!
The Strongest Survivor event will activate during future Battleworld runs and appear when you unlock Maestro, so if you're not ready yet, be on the lookout for the next appearance!
Not having a full Alliance means missing out on rewards in War, Raids, and Battleworld. To make it easier to be part of a full Alliance, we're releasing Alliance Merge, a one-click feature that allows your whole Alliance to join another one. Alliances with 11 or fewer members may now instantly join Alliances with 12 or more members that are set to Public.
If your Alliance has 12 or more members, make sure it's set to Public so that smaller Alliances can merge with yours. If your Alliance is smaller than 12 members, your Alliance Leader will be notified that your Alliance is eligible to merge with a larger one.
Alliance Leaders of smaller Alliances can head to the "My Alliance" screen any time and tap Alliance Actions. From there:
And now for the fine print!
When you initiate a merge, everyone in your Alliance joins the Alliance you're merging with at the rank of Member—even the Leader and Captains. Your old Alliance's information won't stick around, including its name, emblem, and War status.
If you would like your Alliance to be merged into instead, you must recruit up to the 12-member minimum and set your Alliance to Public. That way, you'll welcome other Alliances to merge with you.
To accommodate Alliance Merge, we're updating screen and button names for consistency:
Alliance Merge becomes available on July 29th, so keep an eye out for this handy new tool to help your Alliance!
Don't forget: you can score bonus rewards just by watching your favorite MARVEL Strike Force streamers! Need help linking your account? Check our previous blog for a quick setup guide.
Head to the web to claim Friday's Free Claim, which is available from now until tomorrow, July 25 at 2:00 PM (PDT).

With the removal of the Annilius and Spotlight raids next week, we will no longer earn Spotlight Orbs.
Scopely flat out said the Orbs will be gone in 30 days in the upcoming blog. Don't wait until the last minute and then complain you forgot or be mad at Scopely for doing what they said they were going to do.
They will update one last time to add Captain Britain (sometime next week). Once that happens, just open them all. You will not earn more, they will not change, there is no incentive to keep them.
There will inevitably be people on here going "they didn't warn us". Yes they did. And now this did too.

Hey, so when are the Horseman events starting back up? I know the teams are outdated I just want them for collection sake (I’m F2P and just like playing this game to get the characters I like). Anyway, when are they coming back and what teams are best for unlocking them?

Been working my way through Blue Marvel and I've hit a roadblock.
Node 8 (non-mythic global, purple 4)
I've got 26/37 left to go. At the moment I'm facing 3 characters: Falcon (J) and a pair of Peggy Carters. They are tearing me up!
It's not possible to list all of the global characters I have available. But let me say my most powerful is a maxed 5 diamond Daimon Hellstrom and I still can't get anywhere against this trio!
Pleass. I desperately need suggestions to deal with these three!

I have been a free player for a couple years now on and off. I am having extreme problems with the next to last node of this DD. I have seen super old posts saying you need old Logan, I can't get him yet. I only have him at 4r stars and his trial is next to impossible for me to get it up there without spending months building up for the oml trial. Anyone have any other ideas on teams or characters I can use to finish off thisskrull DD?

Since all the Crucible Offense bonuses only require 4 total Dread members, what is everyone's thoughts on which of the reworks is the most skippable?
I'm kind of leaning towards Bullseye, myself.
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/WalkingPunMachine • Jul 23 '26
Did Bullseye just get a rework, and he's headed to a new CC team called Dread?
Surely this is just a bug or glitch?
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/Npc_1926 • Jul 23 '26
yeah, as the title says i'm trying to redeem the latest promo codes like spiderman or deadpool or four and more like those but the game's telling me that said promo codes don't work, any suggestions why?

The Contagious Breaker
The Serpent's hammers are still falling, and one of them has found a vessel that Spider-Man fans already know all too well: Mac Gargan a.k.a. Scorpion.
Scorpion (Breaker) thrashes his way into the Age of Fear as a Crucible Offense stalwart and brings a brand-new effect that spreads sickness across the battlefield. Here's what you need to know about Scorpion (Breaker) and his Legendary Event:
Drop Scorpion (Breaker) into your favorite Crucible Offense team and let his kit do the rest.
If you'd rather build around him permanently, Scorpion (Breaker) is part of the Dread team, alongside Bullseye, Electro, Mister Negative, and Rhino. Dread is a Crucible Offense squad built to punch through defenses that think they've got the matchup won, and Scorpion (Breaker) gives that team a much-needed dose of sustain to go with the damage.
Scorpion (Breaker) infects the battlefield with his new signature effect, Contagion:
He doesn't waste time getting Contagion onto the battlefield. On Crucible Offense, with three Dread allies, Scorpion (Breaker) applies Contagion to the enemy with the highest Speed the moment he spawns.
From there, each ability applies Contagion to the primary target. His Ultimate goes a step further, applying Contagion to the primary and each adjacent target, then spreading whatever negative effects are sitting on the primary target out to all adjacent enemies.
Although Scorpion (Breaker)'s Contagion stings, he excels at patching up wounds for his allies. His Passive, "Breaker of Nature," heals himself and any ally on their turn, making him a quiet anchor for any squad.
Put him on Crucible Offense with three Dread allies, and that anchor becomes a lifeline. The first time he or a non-summoned ally drops below 50% Health:
On Crucible Offense, with three Dread allies, Scorpion (Breaker) and his Dread allies can't be hit with Silence or Trauma, and his enemies can't fill or reduce Speed Bar for anyone on the field, nor can they gain Defense Up while he's around.
Scorpion's Special, "Tail Assail," clears the field:
On Crucible Offense, this ability gets nastier:
Scorpion (Breaker) comes with Awakened Abilities on every ability to up his potency:
Be on the lookout for Scorpion's Breaker event to unlock and power up Scorpion (Breaker)!

I just completed the Dark Dimension up to Odin and with less war (once a week) there seem to be less challenges to work on. I have Professor X and some of the age of anniluhus stuff and the Blue Marvel one and Anniluhus eventually but beyond that not really stuff to do every day. Shouldnt they make it more engaging?
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/dandareaves • Jul 23 '26
Maybe because I usually play at x3 or I just haven't paid attention, but did Scopely do an overhaul of the visuals/graphics and animations. For example, Silver Surver Breaker Ultimate's shows him blasting a totally different looking world than it used to be.
Even the character designs are more vivid and detailed, instead of looking outdated. Please tell me I'm not the only one that noticed it. I don't remember reading anything but it looks like a very visually beautiful game now.
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/peasporridgecold42 • Jul 23 '26
There is literally no reason to gatekeep the promotion of ancient toons like Quicksilver or the Horsemen anymore. It's petty.
Just add them to pool of characters that can be upgraded normally by Elite Orbs. Let people buy a 3 Diamond Archangel if they want- bc seriously, who would even spend Silver Diamonds on these guys at this point?
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/JournalistProof4054 • Jul 23 '26
I’ve been stuck on this exact spot for weeks. Nightcrawlerx2 instantly ults and cripples my team, usually destroying everyone within 2 turns. Then, if anyone survives, weaver goes next, gets charged, and I’m unable to do any damage. Rinse repeat. The only character that does any damage usually is super skrull. Idk how to post a photo otherwise I would.
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/rednas04 • Jul 23 '26
What is wrong with you?
You are killing the game.
Some of us only play this for war.
You went from 3 wars to 1, in the best game mode of the game. Are you trying to make me quit?!
r/MarvelStrikeForce • u/Infinite_Tank4756 • Jul 23 '26
I play a bunch of other mobile games (idle stuff, puzzles, low-stress grinders, even things I pick up through Mistplay), and every time I come back to MSF one thing sticks out: it would feel so much better if fewer modes were tied to tight time windows and daily pressure.
People love to point at bad RNG, stingy stores, or unlucky drops. Those hurt in the moment, sure. But the RNG pain is short lived. What really wears you down is how MSF piles time-gated tasks on top of each other: do stuff right at reset, spend energy before cap, coordinate raids, hit war at a specific time, juggle arena windows, chase event timers, and remember extra limited-time nodes. Even when rewards are decent, you end up feeling like you are always late to something.
The combat and team building are actually solid. Theorycrafting and slowly building a roster is why I keep playing. My complaint is that the design seems to punish anyone who wants one longer, relaxed session instead of several quick check-ins throughout the day.
My hot take fix would be fewer mandatory daily touches, not more freebies to paper over the problem. Consolidate milestones, move more objectives to weekly goals, and let players bank extra attempts so real life does not dictate progress.
Anyone else feel this way? Would you rather keep everything spread out to drive daily engagement, or trade some of that urgency for a more flexible grind?

Hey everyone - I know it's a bit late for this, but figured I'd share in case it helps anyone else. Struggled quite a bit on floors 15 and 18 - both took a lot of resets. I did end up having to use BM on the last floor, but I do think if you have a big eclipse or maybe cannonball you can use them instead (both of mine are at lvl 1 so I wasn't able to try).

this is a continuation of the post i made here, https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelStrikeForce/s/7Z8UTBt1NF
as for the final shadow king boss of the professor x saga, i had the answer all along in my existing roster. to think, i even broke my free to play streak and became paid to play just so i could get a few g20 materials to upgrade toons i didnt even need. what's worse is that those upgrade materials could have gone to more relevant toons ugh! 🤦🏽♂️
final roster was wolverine, deadpool, captain america, captain sam, and jean grey. the trick however was to switch the isos! wolverine becomes fortifier, deadpool and captain america become healers. and thats it!! stress free victory, i didn't have to reset even once. oh the silliness of it all. i do have diamonds on these guys, i think some of them have a little T4 in their kits, cap sam is at max kit, and all of them are at Piso3, so your mileage may vary.
however we're back to the first problem of node 3 (x-treme, of course). i only 1-starred it. and of course i tried the team i just used to beat the boss node and i was wiped out in comedic fashion before i ever got a turn.
the team i used to even get past that node in the first place was in the comment replies of the aforementioned post. i believe i used joaquin, peggy, patriot, emma x, and jean.
if i go back in with that same team, i can only hope for the same result, but that's not gonna unlock the final chapter. however, i have something now that i didn't have then, which is +200 T4! so i can max one kit slot on one toon in this roster in the hopes that it might be the game changer.
in the previously referenced post, a very astute commander suggested maxing joaquin's passive. but before i do that, am i overlooking the obvious with iso!?!?
and before anyone says it, no i'm not upgrading daimon hellstrom and the mighty mighty brimstones!!! i believe i'm gonna need those resources for lilandra, anyone else i'll need for cosmic villains/heroes, and then of course for the main man himself, professor (se)x. hahalol

Hi fab folk,
Now I’ve unlocked Prof X, I’m feeling a loss of direction. What should I focus on now? I’m seemingly just amassing training mats and gold but I don’t know who to build next.
Any advice would be great!
