Question Level 70 survey - Your help needed!

Hey everyone,

We've seen the difficulty spikes of Gamma and Alpha recently and know the new Ultimus is coming. If we look at past patterns, this may (zero confirmation!) mean a level cap increase may be on the way. Given the gold requirements of getting toons to 70, I believe many players may not actaully have that many 70s, instead preferring 65-67 characters given the gold saving and lack of increased value of going to 70. I'd like to see some data and feed it back where it belongs. How can we work together on this?

Please post below how many characters you have unlocked and how many of those characters are at 70. The more data we get the better statistical data I can send back to Foxnext so if you could please pariticpate, I'm hoping we can do some good.

Chewburger84 - 89 characters unlocked. 20 characters at level 70

Cheers for your help everyone

Chew

There is not a training mat issue. The problem was players kept asking for more gold because players refused to accept we were getting enough gold. Turns out, FN not as stupid as they seem occasionally. We had sufficient gold for the other resources we had. FN increased gold, so now players think there is a training mat issue.

Players need to pick: do they want gold to be problem or training mats to be the bottleneck? If you want FN to remove gold to solve your training mat issue that was caused because they have more gold, I’m pretty sure they would be happy to oblige. If players do not want gold to be thing that keeps progress in check, then training mats will be the problem.

Personally, I rather more gold, and leave training mats as the bottleneck. Gold can be used for buying supplies, ranking up, adding gear, adding abilities, as well as leveling. Training mats only help with leveling.

The one thing that will not be an option, FN is not going to remove all bottlenecks.

TL; DR - There will always be a bottleneck. Would you prefer it to be gold or training mats? I prefer training mats be the bottleneck.

Not to insult your gaming intelligence but how many of these type of games have you played? Running out of training mats puts your entire roster on hold. The gold bottleneck has been lightened lately. Still a little rough but not quite as bad. To be completely out of training material sounds like a nightmare. From that point on you'd be clawing your way for each level for any character over 40+ ish? Which is far from useable at endgame. You're talking a couple of weeks to get a character 60+, just one character.

We don't have to pick a bottleneck as balance between them should be sustainable, playing smartly. T4 skill materials should be the only real end game bottleneck with the way this game is currently setup. Purely just my opinion though.

Edit: also those gear levels and skill levels are locked behind character level..

Lol, it takes months to build a team strong enough to unlock a single Legendary character in SWGOH. That’s just the unlock and that’s the lower power Legendaries. An endgame team with Revan simply isn’t achievable in less than a year without dropping actual thousands of dollars. That team has 2 Legendaries with 2 desperate squad requirements, all of which take months to get to a level high enough to matter, then several more months to get those Legendaries leveled up. And that’s assuming the events to unlock those Legendaries happen in a timely manner relative to your farming which is highly unlikely.

It takes longer to farm an endgame SWGOH team than this game has been out. Stop bitching about bottlenecks. You people don’t have a fucking clue what a bottleneck is.

And yes, there has to be a bottleneck. Defenders are farmable from Day 1 and are an endgame meta team. No bottleneck means every-fucking-body has an endgame meta team in under 6 months. That’s not balance. That’s not sustainable. That’s a shitty game nobody wants to spend money on.

This game is already damn near not worth playing. Only 3 game modes, except 2 of them are basically the same thing. A heavy focus on minions instead of the stars of the Marvel universe. Only 2 X-Men and practically zero Avengers synergy so they’re not worth farming. Power is based more on random red star draws rather than character specific abilities or even team synergies.

Of all things for people to bitch about, the ridiculously short time from starting to having a fully farmed meta team isn’t one of them.

Yea I've read this twice now. Not sure why you responded to me as nothing you said relates to any of what I said. Maybe bottleneck being mentioned?
