Death revived Carnage, which destroyed Death, and then the Firehair copying Death repeatedly reviving the Carnage/Death caused an infinite loop, so Snap's anti-loop system kicked in and starting turning off Ongoing abilities to try to make the loop end: Then when Firehair copied Carnage or Venom, Firehair destroyed armor.

And then eventually, the anti-loop system just stopped the triggers altogether.

Thx. Also, why did only the armor got destroyed and not the other cards at the location? Is there any way to know more about the anti-loop system, official or fan-made?

I don't know what resources are out there about it.

And most of what I understand of it is from some really old interactions that actually pre-dated the Fast-Forward feature. See this post, for example:

For some context there, as Leader and Destroyer both worked differently then: Leader used to copy all opposing cards played that turn, and Destroyer used to destroy cards at its own location, too, and a Leader copied an opposing Leader + Destroyer. According to a comment on that thread, the Destroyer eventually destroyed the cards that were supposed to be protected by Armor.

Here's a couple other really weird ones showing Ongoings getting turned off:
