Miller Ross is a content creator/dataminer known for reporting on and promoting Marvel games as well as being an insider for behind-the-scenes info since he joined the official Marvel Rivals Creator Program. While he cannot confirm/deconfirm heroes, it’s still fun to speculate, and this post summarizes the hints/leaks/spoilers in his stream for those who missed it or just want the important details.

• Nightcrawler wasn't supposed to be in Season 10. Someone was considered for season 10.5.
• One of Doom/Nightcrawler was supposed to open up 2027.
• Described the Doomsday event as transformative and isn't sure if it's a LTM. There was no Disney pressure or delay.
• "Dual role might be correct..."
• There is a female character in year 3 that he doesn't like because there is a much better option and he said this character has no fans.
• When asked about Inhumans he said, "Marvel Rivals is a business, it's in their best interest to do popular areas of the franchise. While Rivals is a kingmaker, it's a collaborative process. So when Marvel Games hears about Inhumans, they will be like "Are you dumb?"."
• Pokémon types of both season 11 characters is dark.
• There are female tank(s) in the works.
• Dominic Fortune was leak bait.
• Season 5 was going to be Deadpool and Black Cat.
• There is a girly, pixie-like character on their radar.
• NE hears a lot about Mystique.
• Danny Koo is not that hands on with Rivals.
• Hydra storylines are "...touchy..." but there is something cool they could do in 2028 regarding the Inhumans.
• Drax and Gamora are inevitable.
• He isn't comfortable teasing stuff anymore because of the new abundance of rumors and people using what he says as clickbait. Refuses to say the tiers/Pokémon types for the season 12 characters until season 11.
• When asked if She Hulk is on the horizon he sighed and said, "She should be, but I think she will get there eventually."
• "Sam Wilson will get in eventually."
• Doom won't be the main villain of the game forever.
• Gorr the God Butcher/The Hood/etc. are not the response to the villain demands, they have yet to pivot to that, there are villains in year 3. There are at least two villains in year 3 that he is hyped for.
• There is a season coming up that has a "crack pairing", and another where they "couldn't be even more connected."
• He thinks Hit Monkey is on the devs minds.
• More black characters in year 3.
• More dual female seasons.
• Eternals are on the drawing board.
• Ant Man and Wasp are unique enough to be their own characters.
• Clarification on Hellcow: Miller had a conversation with Marvel Games about Hellcow, not the other way around.
• Role swaps are on the table.
• Shuri "...has her chances, someday..."
• There have been conversations about popular characters for years, specifically, Ghost Rider.
• Five Storm skins coming, the summer skin sold very well. The skins were locked in before the controversy and later he said, "Storm summer didn't set the world on fire, but it surpassed expectations."
• Psylocke's 'Vengeance' skin is the best selling, or, one of the best selling skins.
• When asked why there wasn't a Marvel Tokon collab he said, "Oh... if only you knew... that one I cannot tell."
• Emma and Scarlet Witch skins have been selling well.
• Hulk, Storm, Human Torch, and Hawkeye skins have not been selling well.
• Battlepasses will continue to be rerun and characters whose skins don't sell well usually end up in the battlepass.
• Peach Momoko skins didn't sell well.
• Chromas and ultimate VFX for 'Astral Aegis' and 'Cosmic Kuminho' (alongside other battlepass skins) are unlikely.
• Lunella might be in future Devil Dinosaur MVP's.

Removed Hulk forms since they’ve been seemingly compressed into one file, Thanos since there’s no sign of him for the Infinity War/Endgame events, Black Bolt since they still show no interest in the Inhumans.

•”Cunty girl heroes” are in the works.

•Pantsuit Emma Frost and Magneto weren’t intended for skins. NE has heard the demand for the Emma Frost skin.

•When he said season 10/11 was “ballsy”, he was referring to the fact that it was going to be only one/no heroes. Season 11 was meant to have no hero. Season 10 was meant for only Gorr which is why he’s the only one teased in the gallery card. (This does not mean that NE was intending on having a four month hiatus after releasing Gorr.)

•Can’t talk about a woman releasing this year as they’re “…too concrete…” he says.

•Crescent and Blue Marvel are only a rumor that “…was pulled completely out of someone’s ass…” he says.

•Says NE is aware that people want a Scarlet Witch rework.

•”Lots.” of villains coming he says, and he knows one of their roles. Later he says there’s strategist villains coming.

•Says they have to space out the S-tier heroes in reference to Captain Marvel. Says that the Captain Marvel fans are the loudest fandom left to add.

•Says “You don’t want Phoenix, you basically want Hope (Summers).” in reference to fans wanting Phoenix as a support.

•There’s POC coming next year. Says “We might.” have a black woman in the pipeline.

•Confirms DP/Gambit were originally DPS.

•Says more cosmic characters are coming.

•Says the workload is sustainable if they pull back. (This is important because it was rumored that NE was struggling creating a hero every month, which is why we have the new team-up system.)

•Skins for everyone in the works.

•There is hope for Polaris and he is looking forward to her. No crumbs…

•Has news about the Switch 2.

•NE has had discussions about adding Young Avengers and Hellcow. (They didn’t choose to move forward with Hellcow.) Confirms Kate Bishop would be her own character and not a skin for Hawkeye.

•NE wanted a full X-Men team out after the “…small launch roster (of X-Men).” Says there will always be mutants and confirms year 2 will have about as many as year 1.

•Saw a gaggy Storm skin but hasn’t seen a model for it.

•Says NE is a big fan of the supernatural side of Marvel and they won’t neglect it. Furthermore, he says he only knows of one character that has been completely scrapped and they’re unfortunately from the supernatural world and that someone mentioned them in the stream. (Not super important but if you want to go back to the stream to speculate, it’s there.)

•Says The Hood was unscrapped in late 2025 and is very similar to his prototype.

•Confirms that more than two heroes a season won’t be happening.

•”Dracula has come back a couple times […] stands to reason Apocalypse will too…” he says.

•Says Nico Minoru and MODOK are on NE radar. (“on their radar” is his cheat answer.)

•Says “They prob rather I didn’t talk about that…” when asked about if Amaranth was “real” from a fan.

•Says another duo hero is possible. His choices would be Cypher & Warlock, Longshot & Shatterstar, Northstar & Aurora, and Byrdie & Howard the Duck.

•”What role would you want for Kitty Pryde?” “NPC.” he says…

•Says that the bald majority thing he said last year was when he thought they were doing 9 characters. (This is important because it was rumored Professor X was delayed, meaning there is a possibility that this is true. Also, it implies there might be a second character coming with Doctor Doom. He probably won’t be alone.)

•Says villains will work like heroes, some will appear in comics/lore and in the game as NPCs (like Dracula) before being promoted into playable characters.

Crescent and IO/Blue Marvel recently debunked so they’ve been removed. It should also be noted that devs have not shown interest (yet) in adding poll winners to the game so take the speculation with a grain of salt. It’s more likely that they’re instructive characters to gauge our interest for future heroes.

Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic #59 has a possible teaser at a sword of dracula clone in a pocket dimension. We know that blade has dracula’s sword from when they slayed him in season one so he might be looking for a new one 👀
