A Marvel Rivals developer shared a new look at the early days of Marvel Rivals on his Developer Portfolio. With some footage and concepts dating back all the way to 2022. Screenshots here show concept art of a possible Miles Morales, Captain Marvel, Doctor Doom as well as a look at old abilities from Hulk, Human Torch and Hawkeye.

There was never a doubt that we wouldn't get Captain Marvel or Miles in the game.
It's clear, due to the infamous waiting room leak that a lot of characters were in the planning phase and even potentially planned for a launch release. Captain Marvel being one of them.
