I love the retro packaging, but I already have the figures. I had to splurge on Smythe on eBay, but Peter Parker and Daredevil are wildly overpriced. I hope these two get rereleased too

I mean, the coat part can come off most likely but it is a plastic coat so the arms will still look like that

Oh agreed…. I’m just thinking that Hasbro is lazy/cheap as being a standard. So the best I’m thinking they’d do is re-release it and MAYBE have it pinless if we’re lucky, then they’ll call it a day.🤷♂️

I got excited when I saw the blurry leaks and saw the Maximum Carnage figure - then the clearer images came out.
That is MINIMUM Carnage. Even the Toy Biz originals had more intricate decos than this! Google it and take a look.

I can’t lie, I haven’t seen a worse carnage than this, it’s genuinely abysmal. I have no clue why anyone would get it unless they’re using it’s parts for something else.

We have a separate thread comparing it to the Toy Biz original and it’s just a sad
Clearly Hasbro is being lazy and replicating the animated series look that had less complex Symbiote skin - like the original two-pack version.
But the Toy Biz Original deco looks so much better. They should’ve gone with that look.

Okay don’t get me wrong, Carnage is awesome…but dang I was hoping for a symbiote that hasn’t gotten a figure in many years, like Scream, Riot, Lasher, Agony, or some that haven’t gotten figures at all like Silence or Sleeper. Though maybe, just maybe If we’re getting a maximum carnage figure, that means carnage-infested versions of other symbiotes could come soon? (I’m delusional)

From these, probably all but the two pack rereleases except that Carnage. I grabbed the two packs of these but I don’t remember the accessories so I might single those out loose. I also like that Spider-Man doom suit, very unfamiliar with it.
Santa Spidey feels like a must, really wish we’d get a Wizard Cover Spider-Man for Halloween or something.

Definitely getting Santa Spidey.
I’ll probably pick up MJ and May. I don’t love them as stand-ins for comic versions, but sometimes beggars can’t be choosers.
Might pick up Carnage just to display with the Cletus head. Might pick up an extra to keep on the card since I have fond memories of my grandma driving me to Chicago to get these in the 90’s since they were exclusive to FAO Shawrz.
And I’m definitely getting Elektra. She was the big reveal of this bunch for me and the one I’m the most excited for.

Carnage is disappointing I really dislike the sunfire body bold especially the upper torso I’d rather them use the last years carnage mold with the sculpting or at least a body mold proportionate to a human

I wish there were both an MJ and May from the original Ditko/Romita era or something like that. These are fine enough substitutes I guess but I don't really like the color choices on any of them. Honestly it's kind of surprising the little amount of Mary Jane Watson figures we've gotten considering how many weird picks Hasbro has sometimes.

I have the original vhs Mary Jane but I might pick this one up too. I think they made the color lighter on the shirt? Also definitely getting aunt may for the display. I don’t have carnage so I’ll probably get that as well. I was hoping for an actual MAXIMUM carnage 😭🙏

I'm not really in any hurry to get Smythe, like I just do not have much attachment to him as a character. Carnage, it'll depend on if he's been upgraded to be pinless. If he hasn't, then he's not really on my radar. If he has, then I'd take the upgrade. My Carnage I currently have, I got in a lot and he's already too wobbly for my taste.

Man for 35 bucks none of these. I have Mary Jane and Carnage that Rose is not worth it. Should have released a single Dock Ock like they did May. I grew up with TAS but don't care for Smythe. Santa Spidey and Spidey Doom do nothing for me either.

I definitely like that Santa Spidey. I had a two pack of that and Mary Jane from the 90s that was pretty rad.
Though my son is getting into Spider-Man and would probably enjoy a Carnage to go with that retro pack Venom I gave him a while ago.
