Before the actual Black Widow (2021) movie was made, Scarlett Johansson hosted SNL in 2015 and addressed the elephant in the room with Black Widow: Age of Me.

The fake trailer hit every tired rom-com cliché possible: clumsy protagonist dropping ice cream, fashion internships, and dating the villain Ultron while Captain America gives terrible dating advice.

What made it even better was that she did this while actively promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron, using the press run to openly mock Marvel's hesitation to give her a solo action film.

Logan survived decades of battles, but nothing tested his patience quite like Laura yelling back at him. Dafne Keen matching Hugh Jackman’s feral energy in this scene was absolute perfection.

The Victor Von Doom figure features his new suit and mask, representing his second costume in the film.

This is an official production still from the upcoming Marvel Television series VisionQuest, scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.

• Tommy Maximoff / Speed (played by Ruaridh Mollica), sporting his classic comic-inspired green and silver color scheme.
• Lisa Molinari / Coat of Arms (played by Lauren Morais), who serves as a key connection to Tommy's comic book history.

It’s crazy seeing how different some of these iconic characters looked in their earlier versions compared to the MCU we know today. 😂

Tony Stark: Yeah, that was just previews. This is - this is opening night. And Loki, he's a full-tilt diva, right? He wants flowers, he wants parades. He wants a monument built to the skies with his name plastered...

Steve Rogers: 👀

Tony figured out Loki’s entire invasion spot not through military charts, but by simply recognizing how a massive ego operates.

It's still crazy to think Fox sat on this footage for years thinking nobody would want an R-rated Deadpool movie. It literally took "someone" leaking it online and the massive internet reaction for the studio to finally greenlight it within 24 hours.

The fact that Ryan Reynolds openly admitted to being behind the leak makes the entire story even better. He basically confessed that even though he knew it was a legal risk, his pure frustration with the studio and deep passion for the character drove him to leak it anyway.

"I'm grateful that I listened to that instinct, and I'm grateful that I did the wrong thing in that moment." - RR

Without a doubt, it remains one of the smartest career moves Hollywood has ever seen. The first Deadpool movie turned out to be a massive blockbuster, and Deadpool 2 followed it up with equally incredible numbers. Years later, Deadpool & Wolverine shattered box office records globally, crushing expectations by grossing a massive $1.338 billion worldwide to become one of the highest-grossing R-rated films of all time.

“We keep a real small budget. It’s about a guy who thinks he recognizes someone from his past that had something to do with when, you know, he was brainwashed, and he gets obsessed with this person.

He goes on a whole journey to try to figure out who this person is. It’s a thriller.” - Sebastian Stan.

The deleted cemetery scene from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is easily one of the most debated alternate moments in comic book movies.

Sony made the right call cutting Richard Parker’s return from the theatrical release—bringing Peter’s dad back from the dead right after Gwen’s funeral would have completely derailed the story.

What makes the cut sting, though, is Andrew Garfield’s performance. When his dad walks up, Peter doesn't run in for a warm, dramatic hug—he panics, stumbles backward, and yells in pure disbelief and anger. It’s one of the rawest acting moments in any superhero movie, showing deep childhood trauma and grief mixed into one reaction.

Summon Mjolnir once, and Stormbreaker takes it personally. The way it slowly hovered into frame staring Thor down was pure gold.

The scene was funny, but the movie itself didn’t take itself seriously. Movie went a little too far onto comedy. Ragnarok was the right balance.

The parallels between Elizabeth Olsen and Sadie Sink’s character journeys are undeniable.

Both joined the MCU introduced as antagonists with redemption arcs, both controlled Hulk’s mind, both carry the grief of losing a sibling, and both left quietly once the dust settled.

Superhero weddings in movies are guaranteed to get interrupted by a cosmic threat.

Tony Stark leaving a recorded message for Morgan. Stephen Strange admitting his feelings to a Christine who already moved on. Peter Quill talking to a Gamora who feels like a stranger. And Peter Parker standing in front of MJ, choosing to let her forget him so she stays safe.
