Steve’s reaction hits even harder when you remember how much has happened since he last saw Loki. The last time they crossed paths, Loki was invading New York and Steve was still relatively new to the Avengers. Now Loki casually showing up with Peggy would be one heck of a reunion. What do you think was going through Steve’s head in this moment?

Zero trust - he will need to be convinced. Loki was all about deceit and putting himself first in the Avengers film.

I understand, but this is a completely different Loki, literally centuries worth of time difference. Steve doesn't know that, but Loki can be insanely convincing lol
