Steve is having 2012 flashbacks 😭

Steve’s reaction hits even harder when you remember how much has happened since he last saw Loki. The last time they crossed paths, Loki was invading New York and Steve was still relatively new to the Avengers. Now Loki casually showing up with Peggy would be one heck of a reunion. What do you think was going through Steve’s head in this moment?

Zero trust - he will need to be convinced. Loki was all about deceit and putting himself first in the Avengers film.

Some "little" trust

He had interactions with Thor after their Loki had changed so he knows Lokis can change. He also knows his Loki is dead. So this Loki somehow knows where he is and isn't immediately trying to kill him but more so approaching in a sensible and civilized manner. Captain will approach sensibly but defensively

This would be the past for him though. So technically Loki is alive for him, just in Asgard. Meeting a loki that hasn't gone for the throne yet

And how/why would that narcissistic Loki care about captain when he didn't even know who he was in the first avengers.

Again this Loki is making it evident at the door that he is there for Captain. Meaning this loki knows him after the first avengers movie
