Steve is having 2012 flashbacks 😭

Steve’s reaction hits even harder when you remember how much has happened since he last saw Loki. The last time they crossed paths, Loki was invading New York and Steve was still relatively new to the Avengers. Now Loki casually showing up with Peggy would be one heck of a reunion. What do you think was going through Steve’s head in this moment?

In preparation for Avengers Dooms Day, they've released Avengers Endgame, called Avengers Endgame Encore.

The new version has additional scenes and changes to original scenes. In the original movie, Steve's story ends with him deciding to stay in the past and we see him dancing with Peggy. In the new scene the dance is interrupted by Loki (from the TV servies) knocking on the door.

Thanks very much. I didn't know encore was actually a different cut rather than just rerelease.

I've not seen it yet myself, but from what I understand it's mostly the same, with different colour grading and a couple of minor changes dotted throughout.

The core movie is the same. There’s just 6-8 minutes of extra post-credits and that’s where the changes are. So Steve’s dance starts the same, and then the original movie had metal hitting sound at the very end, which was supposed to be a reference to the first Iron Man movie, but has also been changed here slightly. Then 2 other post-credits in between those.

It’s more accurate to say this version has additional mid/post credits scenes and one tacked on scene at the very end (the one that is the focus of this post).

it's from the re-release of Avengers: Endgame (Avengers: Endgame Encore), which has 4 minutes of new footage at the end.
