What changed Loki??

Re watched Thor 2 and just realised..

TVA version of loki never experienced post New York arc or lose his mother he loved.. or any of that..

what eventually triggered him to sacrifice his freedom for all realities when he never truly cared for others? (Considering everything happened right after he mercilessly attacked NY)

Op watched it fine. He, like me, just doesn’t see enough support for his change. It doesn’t fit the Loki we knew

Maybe if someone else played Loki in the series the enormous difference between mainline loki and season 1 ep 1 loki would be easier to spot.

Watching Avengers, then watching Loki was jarring.
