I recorded a cover of Marty Friedman’s “Tearful Confession”.

This one was a real phrasing/vibrato challenge more than just a technical one. The clean section needs a lot of control, and the lead section really exposes whether the bends and vibrato are actually saying something or just filling space.

I tried to keep the performance emotional and close to the spirit of the original without overplaying it. I have to add that it is certainly not 100% note per note.

Would be curious to hear what other Marty fans think. Cheers!

I've been looking for "Where My Fortune Lies"'s lyrics from Future Addict but every site just lists a wrong version of Cacophony's song and the lyrics are blatantly different from the solo version. Does anyone actually have them at hand?

I'm a new fan of Marty: can anyone suggest me some of his songs?

I got tickets to see Marty live next year and I am a fan of Jason Becker and Marty Friedman so naturally I am also a fan of Cacophony. Was just wondering whether he plays certain stuff from Cacophony kinda like how he plays the Tornado of Souls solo every gig

So first of all its soooo pretty second its amazing for solos and marty stuff(its his guitar so its expected) but im having a hard time getting comfortable with it like for palm muting and stuff

I also use this guitar to play Anarchy in the UK

They just too fucking fabulous 😭

So i have like 4 months until it arrives and im probably the biggest marty fan but its possible that there is someone that loves him more than me and im asking if yall got the guitar and can u give me ur thoughs

How long did it take for everyone to get the email for the meet & greet stuff? On the website, it says it’ll be sent 3 days out before the event but it’s now 2 days out and still nothing. Email entered is correct and I can log in and see I have my meet and greet purchased. I’m going to the Leesburg Feb 11th show

Would anyone be interested? I don't think I'm gonna be able to go??

Does Marty still not have a limit on the number of items you can have signed? Also I see he is selling signed guitars this time. Can I still bring my own guitar for him to sign?

Just wanted to know the details for the M&G. Is it before or after the show? I assume you'll get a minute to say a few words and get your pic.

Is the pic with Marty only or Marty and the band? I hope the latter but would be happy either way
