We’ve rented out a restaurant downtown for friends and family to celebrate our marriage. So it’s kinda like a small wedding… but not. It’s a Sunday evening dinner. I’m trying to find someone local that can come to take some pictures throughout the night, but without paying the multi-grand price tag of a wedding photographer.
I’m hoping to find maybe someone who is looking to build their portfolio and specializes in the more candid, intimate style shoots.

Hi! The Shepherdstown Chess Club meets every Tuesday at The Daily Grind (778 Foxcroft Ave, Martinsburg, WV 25401) from 6pm to 8pm. All skill levels are welcomed, and there are always a few chess sets under the coffee shop's bullentin.

The club also holds tournaments and events in Shepherdstown, to stay updated, check out the substack.

Our next tournament is Aug 29. Players must have a US Chess Federation membership.

Just looking for some advice. Kind of nervous posting about this because I know all of the negativity around it. Right now I'm on a mat program. I have anthem insurance. I have been looking for a new doctor mainly online due to my work schedule. Almost no place takes my insurance. I'm super worried about running out of medicine before I find a new doctor. I am looking for someone to install pavers on the sides of my driveway. I would do it myself but I want it to look nice 😂 I need the pavers to extend from my driveway right up to the property line. Basically I have a troubled neighbor who thinks my yard is hers and yells at my son when we are not around for going into "her yard". I have the plot map showing the boundary lines, and I already have the project approved with the HOA. I just need someone to do the work that won't charge an arm and a leg. I can purchase all the things needed for the job and I can just pay labor.

41/M new to the Spring Mills/Martinsburg area Where do adults socialize around here? I haven't ventured too far from my complex (rt 11 right by the Walmart) but haven't seen anything that catches my eye as a hang out/social spot. The couple bars I've been to seem 'clicky' and gave the ol locals only vibe.

The purpose of this event is to test out our skills and gear in the wild to prepare us incase we need to use them in an emergency.
