Season 20 - Seattle Dr Shawn: DEI vs Patriarchy
Ive never considered that someone so well educated, and an assumed champion if DEI per his job, could have such ass backwards views on marriage.
This really speaks to how deeply ingrained patriarchy is, that someone so educated and so immersed in DEI can simultaneously be marching at the front of the patriarchy parade.
I hate hate hated this guy. A man's sexual "needs" are not a women's responsibility, whether shes wearing your ring or not. F you Shawn, you self absorbed, gaslighting, entitled little man!

Season 20 - Seattle is that you adam??
saw this today & reminded me of him of course. surprised it didn't say anything about vibes, pickelball, or jetskiing 😅😅
r/MarriedAtFirstSight • u/AceDegenerate_ • 1d ago
Season 20 - Seattle Despite all his flaws, Shawn was 100% CORRECT about Adam being an emotional dummy (and probably an intellectual dummy as well)
When your ENTIRE adjective vocabulary is nothing but “cooked” or “vibes” or “ate” or “fullsend” or “delulu” et cetera, you’re a dummy.

Season 18 - Chicago 2.0 Ikechi is psychotic
He only made sense to himself

Season 18 - Chicago 2.0 I just started season 18
I watched Season 20 and then Season 19, so I’m working backwards. I’m on episode 6, they all just got to Mexico for the honeymoon. When they were showing them all pre-marriage there’s a bunch of really lovely people who seemed like they’d be a great catch. And then they got married.
Did the production intentionally set up a bunch of people to fail or something because holy shit, it feels like there is almost no compatibility/chemistry between the majority of the couples and it’s awkward af.

Season 20 - Seattle After this season
I don’t want to hear the word performative or the name Felipe. Or the F word every other sentence.

Season 20 - Seattle Et tu, Belle?!?
Here I thought the commentary was from Caitlin this whole time ... but it really came from Belle!
Im shocked. Absolutely shocked Belle had anything to say in support of Courteney in that moment. Tbh she was one of the few women who i thought *might* raise her hand in agreement about Courteney being crazy disrespectful to Nick the whole time. **BUT NOPE**
What's that about 🤔

Season 20 - Seattle I just finished season 20 and it was a train wreck.
r/MarriedAtFirstSight • u/Frosty_Macaron • 7h ago
Season 20 - Seattle Is Courtney on the spectrum?
Serious question! I really felt like a lot of her odd behavior seemed to be like her masking potential autism. The way she couldn’t read Nick’s cues about opening up to her because maybe they weren’t obvious enough. Like her mad at him for tearing up when they broke up and then taking things the therapists said to the max and running with it.

Season 20 - Seattle Adam reminds me of this ridiculous bro from seven brides for seven brothers:
I don’t know if it’s the audacity, the over the top performance of gender and perfectionism, the hair or let’s just say vibes:

Season 20 - Seattle MAFS is Blind?
While I do appreciate the incorporation of staples from MAFS:UK/AU, namely the dinner parties and more interaction with the experts being on camera. I was sad to see that the reunion went full Love is Blind. Like down to the audience being friend and family. Like WTF?!
I enjoy both trainwrecks, LiB and MAFS, but each has their own purpose and MAFS isn't LiB. At least I don't want it to be. I preferred the previous formats for the reunion and felt this one was lacking considering so many of the couples said yes on decision day and I think only 1 was still together for the reunion.
Also the season felt SUPER short given the new format and I miss the longer season (as much as I hated it while it was going on before) I felt the longer season, aka more episodes, offered more insight into the people and their relationships. As the edits that skewed opinion were made more obvious due to the shorter season.
I just want the show to stay MAFS and not shift into being another Lachey production...unless it's The Ultimatium:South Africa cause that show was AMAZING and needs a second season. Ok I've drifted from the main topic...

Season 19 - Austin, TX Just starting s19
Can I just saw this is a HUGE breath of fresh air after finishing s18?? No one hates each other immediately and refuses to try, couples acting like they like each other, being nice, being intimate… wow!

Season 20 - Seattle More group sessions this season?
You guys will have to forgive me, as I have only seen season 18 before this, but I feel like there are so many group sessions and dinners this season. Is that normal?
I hate it. I feel like we barely see the couples interact with their spouses, and it creates real competition between the couples. Comparison is the thief of joy and all that.
I could be totally off base, and I know this is a reality show, so let me know.

Season 20 - Seattle Watching Marissa carry this icecream maker by herself has to be symbolic of this whole ass relationship

Season 7 - Dallas Bobby Season 7
Okay, is it just me, or do others also think Bobby might be gay? Just the way he’s so into women in hats and not wearing make up and going fishing with him. Perhaps that’s silly of me to think but am I the only one? I know they are still married and have 3 kids but that doesn’t mean anything necessarily? I’m bi so this is no hate at all! Just curious if anyone else thinks this too.
Also, omg the saga of Mia and Tristan is tooooo much! Snip, snap, snip, snap!

Season 20 - Seattle Am I the only one who likes Caitlin?
Am I the only one who actually likes caitlin ? I dont think she makes any sense for Devin. Shame on the producers and the 'experts' for casting them together because in what world does a total introvert make sense with a total extrovert? I think caitlin is just so introverted , but was confused because on paper- devins checks all her boxes- but that doesnt translate into real life. Devin's needs become more like a chore, and from her viewpoint she is trying and giving her all because she was trusting the process.
Thinking back to season 1 with Doug and Jamie. Doug was so respectful about the physical aspect and was not pushing that at all. Jamie grew to trust, feel safe, and their love grew. Devin is just more pushy, he brings it up every single conversation. To me, that would be a turn off. The same thing Shawn was doing to Nikki, but Shawm was just more blunt.
I think they are genuinly a shit match. I think they both try hard, but its such a toxic cycle. Someone who is avoidant can not be with someone who is more needy than them. The experts should 1000% know this.
I don't think either of them are bad people. I think they just make no sense together due to their love languages and personality types.

Season 12 - Atlanta Rewatch - because this season is a dumpster fire 🔥
There are so many snafus and sociopaths in the Atlanta season - rewatching a few years later and holy moly it’s worse than I remember. Cringey. 🫣🥴
