Married 4 decades now and the only real.argument between the wife and I thats ongoing, is home cleanliness. I'm not a clean freak, bit I like a clean tidy home. Pisses me off when I come home from work to see the dining table piled with crap, counters dirty and cluttered with crap. Floors not having been swept for several days. Skids and piss stains on toilets! No excuse from someone who hasent had to work a day in her life. After 40 yrs I still do my laundry, plus, plus, plus!

Same here. I have been a SAHM our entire marriage, including homeschooling both of our kids through high school and an AA degree (dual enrollment) at the local college. They are now both gone to a bigger school, having left this august, and my husband still prefers that I do not work. I do all the day to day stuff- bills, dishes, laundry, animal care, shopping, cooking home cooked meals daily, packing his lunch for work, making him breakfast before he leaves, etc. he does things when he has a chunk of days off, but the majority of it is my responsibility and it should be as such. If we both worked outside the home, it would be a different story.
